Ugh... Ponson serving up BP tonight. I don't know how many times he'd be ahead in the count and then put one belt high right down the middle.

From Rany:
Quote:
Hochevar came into the season with 1 year, 17 days worth of service time. However, there’s a cushion of about 10 days built into the season – you only need 172 days of service time to get credited with a full year, but there’s something like 183 days in the season. So if the Royals keep Hochevar in Triple-A for about 28 days, they can delay free agency by a full year.
After he gets his time in in Omaha, hopefully he'll take Ponson's place.

he is 4-0 with 1.44 ERA in 25ip and a 2-1 so/bb ratio in omaha. he's gotta get called up before ponson's next start right?

If we had the Yankee's money, he'd be up here already. But I think we can wait a month if it means having him another year before he's a free agent.

Not a Royals fan, but just wanted to say hey to the Royals fans in here and thank you for Greinke. He is literally carrying my fantasy baseball team right now. He is also zomg pwnage in MVP Baseball 2005 for Xbox with that 56 mph curve. It's basically unhittable.

Good luck this year, and keep winning, because I need more wins on my team.

speaking of amateur night... olivo tries his best ellsbury impression w/ 2 outs.
he's lucky it was a strikeout, cause he would have been out by a mile

Please tell me Miguel Olivo tried to steal home.

Soria's available tonight right?

Actually, he would have been safe if Aviles hadn't swung at ball four. Mauer didn't handle the pitch and it rolled away as Olivo crossed the plate.

well if he hadn't swung at ball four he'd have been safe at third, no?
anyway my point was that he had a horrible jump and was really slow, and it was hilarious.

I have no idea what he was trying to accomplish there with 2 out and a full count. Maybe he thought the bases were loaded.

This has been such a crazy game. It seems like neither team wants to win it.

That game last night was seriously disgusting. Who wants to stop sucking worse, ok we do. Now today Scott Baker no-hits us thru 6 before 2 singles. Guillen hits a 3 run homer to cut the lead to 4-3. I started typing this before Guillen hit that because it was so obviously coming. Please find a win here.

Helluva 7th inning there. I hope we have enough arms left to preserve the 5-4 lead.

or maybe get your lf to throw the ball to the right base (and find the ball in the roof so it doesn't bounce behind him, heh)

Watching the last inning in a bar last night, it was so cool to see all the people cheering when the Royals went ahead. Better to win ugly than to not win at all.

You can tell this year is going to be different. We would never come from behind to pull a games like this out.

WILLIE BLOOMQUIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teahen was out by 40 feet at home on Guillen's double wtf.

What's the deal with Bloomquist and Callaspo hitting .380 but Jacobs and Butler not even hitting their weight?

And who would have though we'd bring in Butler as a defensive replacement?

Meh...you already have a 2 run lead, might as well make them make a play.

Yeah but there was only 1 out, def not necessary although I see your point. J Wright dealing for us. I like him in late innings until he proves otherwise.

Dumbest f'in team in the majors. This team will never win the division if they don't upgrade collective IQ

Coco Crisp was a nice addition, but she's just another li'l bitch. Need a David Ortiz type to keep the bitch in line.
