remember that yost wants guthrie to be in our playoff rotation if we make it and not ventura

we have 17 runs total in the past 7 games i think if we don't score any more today

somehow luckbox our way to 5-2

If we're lucky, Yost will get fired with 12 games left to go in the season.

Except for Gordon our position players all wilt under pressure. Now it's even affecting their defense. This team needs a huge shot of mental toughness. At this point I'm assuming we are going to wilt and miss the playoffs. For next year hopefully we cut a few of our worst shrinking violets and pick up a couple proven vets who can handle actual pressure.

I'm really sick of these shrinking violet mentally weak basket cases. Hosmer just made 3 of the worst swings I've ever seen. He was practically falling down in the middle of his swings.

Even if we do make the playoffs they'll just sit there like a deer in the headlights and **** all over themselves.

we will prob be out of the playoffs after tonight basically if you consider our game that we have to finish in cleveland a loss. the only semi good news is oakland's free fall means a wild card should be slightly more attainable

Everyone is counting on Shields to pull it out tomorrow. We'll probably give him zero run support.

What were the Royals gonna do? Win the division?

I will be at the K next Friday night vs DET. God please let us still be in first - preferably by 3+ games.

Shields the pimp. Tigers the hoe

It's too bad you are in our division because I really like the style you play. Would make a killer national league team.

can't score enough runs to beat a 6 era scrub
making multiple errors every game

just a pathetic bunch of choking

It's not choking, it's variance. Kc was running hotter than the sun for 6 weeks. Now it's back to normal.

You're not watching the games. KC has never lost two games in a row purely to errors like they have the last two. I think most of the players are so used to being on terrible teams, they just have no idea how to handle this kind of pressure late in the season.

I'm hoping it's kind of like the Royals in 74/75. They had some great teams, they just couldn't put it together to win the division. I really think with a couple more pieces could be a great team. And hopefully they won't wilt on the stretch like they are right now.

The Royals are 25 and 74 over the last 10 years or something in home games with 30k+ attendance. The fans are just trying to help our players not piss down their legs so much by staying away.
