just looked over greg maddux's stats (not a huge baseball guy) and I was wrong, he's in a league of his own. whatever though, Greinke is gonna be a top 5 pitcher till he leaves KC
lol i obv dont mean i expect greinke to be the best rh pitcher of this generation, it was blatant hyperbole. he's got a similar style and i expect him to be very successful. no need to nit it up.
Since we're playing Detroit right now, I might have to go all GREEAR tonight and post after every other pitch.
Bottom of the 1st and thankfully they cleaned the lens of the center field camera. Nice start by Greinke. Let's get a hit here to take the lead and Zack can win this 1-0.

Reason: Teahen homer.
I got my first chance to check out the new K tonight, very impressed. It really looks fantastic. They cancelled the fireworks because of wind, kinda bummed me out. I sat in the outfield box seats in right field, section 252. Buck night was a huge pain in the ass in terms of line. I **** you not, I waited 2 1/2 innings to get my 3 dogs and a beer
($9). Thankfully there was a plasma tv in the line so I didn't miss action. My friend's parents sat behind third base on the lower level and had no problems getting concessions, so it must be an outfield thing.
Greinke. Wow. Soria is out for 3-5 days too if you didn't hear.
I picked a bad night to check out the new K, 9-1. Come on Royals we are better than that! I also thought a tornado was going to drop down a couple times. On a good note the new K is very nice!
I guess Trey has figured out a spot for Farnsworth - let him pitch with zero pressure.
Good to see Guillen get a couple of dingers. Lets hope hitting is contagious and they can score 5 or more runs the rest of this series.
Banny pitching effectively is huge. If he can keep this up, we might have one of the best rotations in baseball. Ponson isn't pitching poorly, he just needed a little support yesterday.
