i support pulling basically all of our starting pitchers after the 6th tbh

esp vargas and guthrie

even tho madson gave up a "homerun" (which may or may not have been a hr, idk) youre gonna have a hard time convincing me that i want one more inning of vargas over one inning of almost anyone in our bullpen. vargas was pitching well i guess but i don't trust it personally. i'll take my chances with everyone else instead of throwing him out there the third or fourth time through.

i'm of the opinion that even with no injury considerations i support him being pulled with our bullpen but thats just me

one inning of even a guy like jason frasor should theoretically be better than one inning of third time through jason vargas, regardless of how he pitched in the previous six innings imho

I feel you should let your starter pitch until you have a reason to pull him. Rest the bullpen for when your starter gives up 11 in 2 innings.

once we have lost the game then it doesn't really matter who pitches, throw whoever in there
