only reason this is semi interesting is because the KATOH projection system on fangraphs (basically just looks at minor league stats and doesn't attempt to quantify tools or anything like that) has him as the number one minor league free agent pitcher. 24 year old with 2.10 ERA with 124 strikeouts and 37 walks in 107 innings in AA then **** the bed in AAA. decent gamble. FWIW same model had royals farmhand christian binford at #9 minor league FA pitcher. barlow was around the 50th ranked dodgers prospect but might be top 25 in our ****ty system
