Yeah lets go with the LJ plan. Wanna guess which season he signed the giant contract after?

Code:
Season Att Yds Avg
2008 193 874 4.5
2007 158 559 3.5
2006 416 1,789 4.3
2005 336 1,750 5.2
Sorry about your fantasy team. We won the game, and Charles isn't exactly a tank. I've got no problem with saving his body/not giving him leverage for MJD money.

yes u won 1 game...but if you had a Chris Johnson on your team u really think its wise to just give him 10-15 carries a game and not have him running on 1st and 2nd down?

Chris Johnson and Jamaal Charles were seperated at birth.
I'd like to see him get more carries, but I dont mind the 1-2 punch with Jones in the mix. He looked decent the other night.

Passing game has to step it up big time. That was just awful. Chamber/Bowe combines for 2 catches.

nice win, but there is still too much to improve. Passing game is awful, receivers are not getting good separation.
Secondary allowed another bomb play for a touchdown. Brandon flowers and DJ are impressing me tho.

Will not win against SF if they play the same im afraid.

They're definitely a flawed 2-0 team, and SF will beat us if we don't have a better showing, particularly on offense. I like how our D is playing, other than a few blown plays, which will happen when you have to rookie safeties.

Agree that our offense has issues. How cool is it to be a defensive-identity team again though? Really it's pretty stupid to emphasize offense in KC when you have fans who will automatically elevate any decent defense to all-world for half your games, and the fans cost nothing against the salary cap. Plus it's just so much more fun to root for a team with a dominating D. Romeo is my new man-crush.

I liked the Dick Vermiel era myself, loved the shootouts

i do like what Romeo is doing. Brandon Flowers could be a rising star

vermeil's era was a breath of fresh air but agree with suzzer, arrowhead is just so much better with a punishing D. plus it guarentees at least contending every year instead of the ups and downs we've had since marty left

we might just have us a playoff team in KC boys. kinda a bad beat the 2 hardest games of their LOL schedule are back to back. hopefully if it is 3-2 team doesn't get demoralized

Went to the game today. Nice to see a defense out there and the offense didn't look bad either.

Out in Glacier Natl Park, but I was driving and heard the game on Sirius. We at least sounded pretty good. The SF announcers were pretty funny. They started out talking about how the Chiefs were running gadget plays because they didn't match up with the 49ers, but still admitted they were getting blown off the ball on both sides of the line, then were shocked that they were getting clobbered so bad.

What a dominating game on both sides of the ball. Cassel looked great and Moeaki's catch made him look like Tony Gonzales

what was SF thinking trying to score on their last drive? a player got injured for a garbage 7 points. would have been funny if Gore went down for nothing. Singletary must have had him on his fantasy team

for those who missed watching, here's another great play.

2003 offense with 2010 defense would have gone undefeated and winning the SB.

Well I'm done with Bowe. He's had more than enough chances to fix the dropsies and still is massively inconsistent. I realize the reality of the situation is we may have to live with him for the rest of the year, so if he does something magical the fine.

And Cassel is pretty much in the same boat imo.

that touchdown drop was plain disgusting and completely changed the game. After that we stunk and couldnt move the ball. Why is Cassel not taking shots downfield more often?
I also didnt agree with the call to go for it on 4th down that early. Kick the FG.

I agree with you guys, DBowe ****ed us. I haven't totally given up on Cassel yet. At the time, I wasn't pissed they were going for it on 4th and 2, but I wish they would have run a sweep to Charles on the play instead of a pass. A FG instead would have been good also.

I'm really really proud of our defense. If they sustain effort like that throughout the year, we're going to have a good chance to win every week.

Not to mention Denver and SD both lost yesterday, so no harm no foul in the West.

yeah at the time I thought run>>>>fg>>>>>>>>pass

I mean, that first drive we ran the ball 65 or so yards right down their throats, then decide to pass 3 of 4 downs in the redzone. wanted to kill fat charlie.

last week on betus the odds to win afcwest were sd -175 kc +200. today they are sd-175 kc +225. I don't understand how yesterday wasn't a net positive for our chances

I just bought tickets for KC @ Den in a few weeks. Anyone ever been there decked out in red? should I be worried? I went to KC @ Balt 6 or 7 years ago and got a beer thrown on me and yelled at way too much. Thinking of sporting neutral don't wanna put up with any pillow biting shenanigans.
