yeah i was baffled by the schedule, not only playing every team in the NFC east but in a row? crazy.
would have liked to see Thigpen get the nod last week. Croyle tilts me to no end, hes so slow at getting plays off.

and he pretty much single handedly screwed everyone over who had the Chiefs at +13 by that late fumble because he was confused about the play

Until this team gets a pass rush they will continue to be absolutely dreadful. So painful to watch right now.

I'm glad I was unable to watch this one, probably would have broke stuff otherwise. I mean, lock up 0-6 now fjdkljfklsadjkfaksdj

I finally got to watch a game today but christ, I spent more time watching the pats/ravens. This team is so pathetic. I would set o/u 2 wins and bet the under.

got to see the boys again this week. I thought they showed good enthusiasm. still not winning >2 games this year but if we can get an 0-line and d-line future could be ok

if only somebody could have managed to tackle Miles Austin on any given play, we had a chance at winning. awful tackling.

That would be Mike Brown, brilliant replacement for Pollard. He took a horrible angle on both TDs. Praying he gets the axe Tues. Give DuJaun Morgan a chance. Leggitt screwed up too by going for the ball, but not as bad as Brown.

Some positives from the game:

1) Cassell's toughness. At least he can make a throw in clutch. Most of the time his receivers were so blanketed any QB would struggle. Still some big concerns about his accuracy on passes > 15 yards. I feel like I'm watching Thiggy sometimes.

2) Dorsey got upfield and disrupted a lot. He may just turn out to be a player after all. But probably for some 4-3 team. Our run D is looking pretty good and he's a big part of that. Tank and Ron Edwards look good. You can build a D around a solid middle line.

3) Flowers and Carr. How many teams can say they have a pair of pro-bowl potential young corners?

4) Corey Mays was all over the field when he was in there. This guy should be in on every play. I imagine his coverage is lacking on pass plays. So just use him like Derrick Thomas. Weren't we technically in a 3-4 in the Marty days?

5) Sean Ryan continues to impress.

Negatives:

1) LJ is done.

2) Albert got cheap-shotted in his knees. Hope he's ok.

3) Receivers can't get open. Bowe should have come back a little for that slant on our last drive. I get the feeling that's his story. Great catches, sloppy routes. Sigh.

4) Haley's play calling. ****ing draw play on 2nd and 10 at the 50 on our last drive when the draw has failed spectacularly all day and it seems to take 5 seconds to for LJ to even get moving forward. Not only that but by our formation I was 100% sure it was coming, as was the entire Cowboys team staff and the whole freaking stadium. Brilliant. The ghost of Paul Hackett haunts the sidelines.

5) Mike Brown

6) Not sure what's up with DJ. Really said to see such talent on the bench.

7) I'm not sure if Waters gives a **** anymore.

the play calling in general over the past few weeks has been driving me insane. I really felt like I could have call better plays in certain situations.

Here's to an ugly win!

The positives:

1) We won!!!!

2) Succup, Succup, Succup - please tell me we found a kicker and he's not going to get all mental at some point.

3) LJ maybe not dead yet.

4) D continues to impress, but hard to tell vs failskins. Watching both offenses out there today was like watching ******s try to ****.

5) We won!

Negatives:

1) Cassell just throw the damn ball. Also even more troubling, his accuracy still looks pretty crappy. Not Thigpen crappy, but not good. If he keeps laying his receivers out like that they won't be around for long.

2) Bowe inconsistent again.

3) 14 pts makes it look like we were efficient on offense and capitalizing in the red zone! I bet there's at least one media pundit out there who makes some comment about the Chiefs w/o even delving into how they scored. Let's look for him tomorrow.

4) W/o Albert our pass-blocking goes from bad to atrocious. Although I wonder if our run-blocking doesn't improve?

5) Haley looking all disgusted when he got the gatorade, like he's embarrassed because we played so crappy. Well Todd, you're the one who punted twice from your own 36 and continually ran draws on 3rd and long. What kind of message do you think that sends to the team? That we desperately just need one win and we don't care how ugly we get it. So don't act chagrined when that's exactly what happens.

So I finally found a Chiefs forum with an average IQ over 85: http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB...forum.php?f=22

But they freaking all have signatures, and there's no way to disable them. So instead of 10 or so posts per screen, you get 3. And you get to see the same stupid sigs OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Why God? Why?

I hope LJ never plays another down again.

I was at the Sprint Center last year for college basketball tournament. Tony G was there and they showed him on tv and everyone cheered. Then they showed LJ and he got very loud boo. It was awesome

So sick of him, please cut him already. I went to the Heat-Hornets game there, and LJ was at that as well, with a totally blinged out diamond watch. He might suck, but he's definitely not poor. Also, Tyson Jackson and Dorsey were there together. Dorsey had a little hottie with him. D Bowe + entourage were there as well. Yes, the Chiefs suck so bad, this is what the thread has turned into.

Big win today. It was really nice to see our pass rush step up for once (instead of wilt) with the game on the line. Maybe this is a fluke but I really hope this means we've turned the corner on the worst pass rush in the history of the NFL stuff.

I like Cassel late in games, he definitely keeps his cool. You absolutely have to have a QB like that to ever go far in the playoffs. The question is just can he stop holding the ball too long and missing receivers in the first 3.5 quarters - to ever get us into the playoffs?

Wtf with Chambers? Pickup of the decade so far.

Charles is really starting to impress.

Awesome shovel pass call for the game-tying TD. I also loved the option pitch early in the game.

All in all a lot of major positives. It feels freaking great to win a real game, against a non-bottom of the barrel team, that wasn't incredibly ugly game. Of course kickoff TD and turnovers to win it. But still lets hope they can build on this. They at least have to have some confidence back.
