I think we all knew Kareem Hunt wasn’t gonna keep busting seventy yard runs and smith was gonna regress but good god . Can’t remember such a disasterous turnaround. Don’t see much point in watching anymore with mahomes on bench

He gets swarmed every time he touches the ball, and breaks tackles when he gets the chance. I still think he'll be really good.

Let's see Reid comes out and says "I need to get it to Hunt more" - then proceeds to hand off to Hunt every first down. And teams know they can basically ignore receivers 10+ yards down the field right now. Hmmm what could go wrong?

This is a completely different team than the first 5 games. These guys are awful. There is no point in watching.

I didn't watch the game but listened to the second half while driving home from Iowa.

Sounds like the same old problems: Line doesn't open holes for the running backs and can't pass block. Alex gets happy feet and goes into check down mode.

You can have the fastest guy in the league, a top tight end, a really good running back, and a good qb, but without an o-line that's capable the skill positions are neutered.

This off-season, I think we need to trade Smith, and put that money into the line.

WTF was that ****? We need to change the title of the thread to "Waiting for Andy Reid to Retire".

Third and a half yard in the 3rd and they decide to run a trick play and throw to a lineman?

The litany of penalties on the Jets' last drive that ate up the clock. Instead of being down by two with 3:55 and two timeouts, we're down by 7 with just over two minutes and no timeouts.

I'm done with Marcus Peters. He's got a ton of talent but his head just isn't into it. I don't think he wants to play in KC.

^ Nice.

Line played better, Alex played worse, defense was better, and Carr was terrible.

Whatever, a win is a win.

Remember the playoff game last year? "They're gonna call that every time" Except when they don't. But they always do in huge spots for us. Because Chiefs.

That's when we had a big lead. Refs gotta keep it close so the TVs stay tuned.

Also, I tried posting some at chiefsplanet. Ugh.

Back-to-back division titles! Yay. I think we can win a playoff game this year.

... and then blow it against Pittsburgh or New England.

Chiefsplanet is growing on me. The key for me is to realize there's no actual discussion taking place, but to just antagonize the deplorables.

If we do, it will be the first home playoff win since Montana. As a Chiefs fan I have come to appreciate small victories like this.

But Smiff has a way of playing just good enough to lose playoff games. One more freaking drive in that 28 pt. collapse to the Colts and we win.

If the qb has you up 28 points, you can't really pin the loss on him.

He's a different guy this year, the best one of his career. He's only had 2 or 2 bad games this year. I'm more concerned about the line opening holes for Hunt and giving Alex adequate protection.

That and the defense.

7 of those were a pick 6, and yes he played great in the first half, then turtled up in the second half. That is on him.
