Everyone on a jets forum I go to is speculating Clemens + draft picks (2nd? 4th?) for Marshall. Makes sense since we got O'Connell, and the FO loves Ainge

Sanchez, Ainge as backup O'Connell as 3rd string.

I would like that trade, would be awesome

Weird connection but I work for jetBlue and news recently came out that we're partnering with a major New York sports team but it can't go public until tomorrow. This, combined with Rhodes' tweet and the capitalization of JET makes me think its this.

Analyzing player's tweets just shows how this season needs to start already. Also, pretty lame by Rhodes if it is indeed a partnership deal.

Really? Not one writer thinks we can at least finish 2nd? There is some sprinkling of 3rd place finishes but mostly 4th.

After the Pats, I think the Fins, Bills and Jets are all close enough that at least one person would think a little higher of this team. Whatever, ESPN.

Was impressed with Bart Scott's interview on PTI. When asked for a season prediction he said "we have to at least come out of this thing above .500" and that "we are a playoff caliber team".

Sounds confident.

for the most part should be an easy first test for sanchez, as long as he avoids super mario.

but im mostly looking forward to leon running circles around that awful run defense

So awesome for Rex and Sanchez to win their first game. Sanchez looked really good at times but there were also some lolbad passes mixed in there. He's like a likeable Brett Favre though, running down the field after every play. Also, great to see Leon actually involved in the offense.

Oh, yeah. Bart Scott and David Harris are pretty good together too.

3) Cotchery stepped up huge

4) holy batman defense, when we get pace and ellis back its going to be scaryyy

5) I can't stand announcers asking for andre johnson. revis SHUTS HIM DOWN. are we going to have to hear that about every big name receiver every week?
