That sucks. I wanted to watch Stafford play, even if it made GB a 10 point favorite instead of 14.

good win yesterday after a short week. big loss last night for the giants as well, gives the team a little breathing room with the brutal schedule coming up.

Think 9-7 should be enough, 10-6 would be a lock imo

Is it possible to play Arizona back to back weeks barring a huge collapse from here?

I think the first half was fairly unimpressive offensively and I have no idea what went on at halftime, but considering the turnover ratio the fact that it was only a 6 point lead was scary but they came out in the 2nd half and closed it out.

11 days to get ready for Baltimore.

We should make the playoffs with 3 more wins.

If we can win@Chicago and Seattle then we'd only need to take one of 3 from: Baltimore, @Pittsburgh and @Arizona.

With those 11 days should help a ton and you're correct win 3 of them and we should be in.

Does anyone else think Rodgers is horrible at interviews.

I feel like Rogers just doesn't give a **** in interviews, which personally just makes me like him even more. "So for the 100000x, how do you feel about Brett doing so well with the Vikings?"

"Oh, they're a good team (smirks), and so are we. (double-****-your-mother smirk) Next question Bitch.

On a side note, Rogers is a very impressive young QB, and were going to have some historical years to come with this guy.

Refs were really really awful last night. About 2/3 of those PI penalties were chincy. But at least we're 8-4!

lol @ imminent Vikings collapse

I still think McCarthy is horrible. Or whomever is in charge of the figuring out challenges. I mean the first one which is an obvious challenge he takes forever, but the 2nd one where it is almost like why even challenge and he snaps challenges. Tilts me so f'in hard.

mccarthy should be fired.

he was hired to keep favre around after the sherman firing...its time to find a real coach.

I think it would be awesome if the packers went after Bill Cower and still kept Capers for defense! Shanahan would also make a great coach or even go back to Holmgren!
Mike is just too timid, lets get a physical coach and play smash mouth football!!!!

Now lets stomp those bears

i dont think mccarthy is a great coach, but don't think he's awful either. with a playoff berth there is no way he will be fired. i dont think holmgran wants to coach anymore but just be a gm or something similar to parcells.

anyways, get out the brooms for the weekend. lets gooooo cement the playoff berth

You should feel good about that, IMO. He's arguably the Packers best coverage LB, and about half of his contract is counting against this years cap, allowing TT to sign people if/when the new CBA is agreed upon.

If Woodson isn't defensive MVP I'm gonna eat my socks! The guy does it all! Leads the league in INTs has a few sacks and makes ridiculous tackles out of the backfield...one of the best FA signings ever!!

IMO Packers could go far this year, but I think they're going to have to run pretty hot to do it. They obviously have the tools on offense and the defense is amazing but most of their wins seem to come ugly. I mean this defense nearly shut out Dallas and was a few fluke plays away from nearly doning the same to Baltimore. They should be able to win the Pittsburgh and Seattle games, and the Arizona one might not even count as the Cards may have clinched by then (then again, maybe the Pack will have too)

As much as Woodson deserves it, he probably won't get it, especially if the voting is anywhere close to how the Pro Bowl voting is going, right now. 11 Queens leading at positions and Woodson isn't even leading for CB's in the NFC. Its absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah I'm happy about the Chillar extension esp with the way the contract is structured

I think JA or Sharper will get defensive MVP although all 3 are deserving. The Pro Bowl voting is lol

****ing absurd.

I thought Capers was anti-prevent.. even with that, like 500 things had to go wrong. Ugh.

I have never seen a defense **** the bed late in the game like the Packers have the last two seasons.

Yeah, this pretty much confirmed our worst fears with Harris going out, didn't it?

Seriously, it's frustrating to lose that, especially given how much went wrong...a chip shot FG missed, a strip-fumble inexplicably overruled (what the hell is a fumble then if that wasn't one??), and a couple opportunities to end things on the last drive...how do you not get that sack!??? And why are we single-covering guys when we're dropping everybody!? And why are we getting called penalities on every damn good defensive play? ahdhghdfguadbbfhjjk
