Yeah I disagree with the notion that our window is peaking. This team is built to win for years to come, along with this year. 5 starters on our team are "aging": Woodson, Driver, Clifton, Tauscher, and Harris.
Woodson has looked better than ever, and when he does slow down, he can be a productive safety. Driver is in amazing physical shape, and he plans on playing 2 more years following this season. Clifton and Tauscher aren't exactly studs anymore. We already have Bulaga in place to replace Clifton, and it's pretty likely whoever takes over for Tauscher will be an upgrade. And Harris, who may already be done, can be replaced as well. We have 3 young corners (Shields, Underwood, Williams). Williams is playing at a pro-bowl level so far this year. Shields definitely has a future. Underwood is pretty up in the air imo. Even so, we'll probably end up drafting 1-2 DBs next year.
So with that said, I think the super bowl window will be open for at least 5 years.
