It will come down to what it always does: defense. I've personally seen enough of Capers and the unmotivated and often times confused defense.
The fact that they couldn't make any type of adjustment against the Niners should have been his ticket out the door. I get the read option is tough to stop, but other teams at least seen to minimize the damage.
I think the packers having more injuries that harm the team shows god hates them more. Just because teams are bad doesn't mean god hates them it just means they have inferior owners.
Ah, I was thinking in the line of monotheistic religions, not polytheism. So the God of Injuries hates the Packers, while the God of Team Management doesn't I suppose.
Cautiously optimistic. I think Lacy is going to be okay, you just can't run on the 49ers. He should make wafflecrushing bad teams easier. Front 7 looked okay.

Not sure why I didn't post this sooner, but can someone confirm that happened and why it did.
So the play (or maybe 2 plays) before mathews got his personal foul and the refs ****ed up the rules there was a 3rd and 6 and the 49ers had a run for 5 yards (short of the 1st down which would have resulted in a 4th & 1). However, there was an offensive penalty and mccarthy decided to accept the penalty to push the 49ers back to maybe the 15 or 20 yard line (still well inside FG range). Of course this gave the 49ers another crack on 3rd down. This decision ultimately led to the mathews flag and a 49ers TD.

This. Jimmy wasn't gonna for it with Phil Dawson so automatic and still not knowing yet how easy it'd be to rape the secondary.
