My money is on Newhouse ultimately becoming the starting RT this preseason with Bulaga moving to LG.

Rodgers and co. were rusty on the 1st drive, solid on the 2nd. Cobb was sweet returning and didn't look like a rookie on offense. Burnett looked promising; seemed unafraid in run support. Jarrett Bush and Pat Lee still suck until further notice. Josh Gordy is going to make the roster. Graham Harrell was shaky under pressure. Mike Neal is going to start. Our backup OL seemed pretty bad.

Is TJ Lang starting this year?

Lang and Sherrod are competing for the LG job. Bulaga moving isn't out of the question.

Bush's INT in the SB made up for the 2007 NFCCG (JUST FALL ON THE BALL WFHUWUFGWFIGUUF) but goodness do I hate him.

50 years from now when people are studying football history, the question will be asked "how did Jarrett Bush ever stay on this team long enough to even make a play in the Super Bowl?"

Isn't he like the absolute last DB on the depth chart? I mean obviously he's bad, but is he like unreasonably bad for his position on the depth chart?

For a long time I'd say he was. Now I think his skill level matches up with "last DB on the depth chart". What always bothered me was how many veteran DB's out there that could have came in and not looked so out of position and awful. I mean, guys that had lost a step but still knew the game.

But that's not really the TT way, and after last year I can't knock it too much.

I don't think I've ever been angrier in my life. Not just watching sports, but ever.

I'm pretty sure he's the dime back currently...ahead of Lee, House, and Gordy. By the end of the season, I predict Gordy and House leapfrog him. Lee gonna get cut imo.

I swear Bush doesn't know the first thing about coverage. His ability to locate the ball is his most laughable attribute.

House may leapfrog Bush before Wk1. Gordy looking good. Lee/Bush made McCoy look like ARodg.

Mike Neal appeared to blow out a knee at practice; 11 confirmed heart attacks following the news.

Heard this too. "Neal is fine" - You sure? Can't afford to lose any defensive linemen right now.

Reports from Milwaukee paper are that Bush is playing better at CB. Remember TT signed him after Bush was offered a contract as a restricted free agent. Bush's main value has been on special teams. There was talk last year about Bush moving to safety. In 2009 Packers were hurting when teams spread it out because Bush would be in the game trying to cover somebody. In 2010 Packers didn't seem to face 4 WR formations too often. Sam Shields was definitely an improvement over Bush. We'll see how Bush plays but I'm almost certain he makes the roster because of his special teams play.

I think the most interesting battle is at WR. Currently there are 12 WRs on the roster. Last year IIRC they carried 5. Cobb is a 2nd round draft choice and he's been getting positive press and looked good in the Browns game. So the Packers have Jennings, Nelson, Driver, Jones, Cobb who will make the team. Maybe they carry one more but you have to wonder why they would bring 12 WRs into camp when they're deep at that position already. On top of that, Finley is back, this Alex Green guy is supposed to be a terrific pass catching RB so the Packera aren't lacking for people to throw the ball to. Swain is a good special teams player so he might stick but I don't think he will. I don't think Driver is any danger either of not making the team as he needs something like 40 yards to become all time leading Packers receive in yardage.

Reading about Sherrod, apparently he's struggling a bit but he still might make it as a starter at LG and they're bringing Lang and Sherrod along at LT. Obviously they hope to get another year out of Clifton.

Need a lot of WRs so we can do my favorite 5 wide on 4th and inches.

I saw a car painted like a helmet today (bright yellow, big G logo on each door green/white/green strip all the way down the middle) and strongly considered following the guy to give him props and/or try to buy it.

Think swain stays.. with Driver's health and as we saw last year, injuries can come out of no where.. Swain knows the system and has had some small success in the past year or so as a WR4... Wouldn't be surprised to see them only care 1/2 FB's (Kuhn love <3).

What's even more interesting IMO, is the TE battle. After Finley, you've got Quarless/Crabtree/DJ Williams etc... Can't carry 4, can we?

Also, I see Collins>Woodson... age more than anything else, as Collins has been a stud as safety . (Not saying Woody hasn't, but based on video game ratings, I understand the disparity).
