Did they think they had to just show up to win this game or something? The O line a atrocious. The Defense so far is the same as last season. Yes they get turnovers but when you let a team run all over you, what good is it? This game reminded me of the game @ DET last season only GB lost.

ESPN predicted Rodgers to be MVP, are they eating their words already?

The only positive I can take out of it is that in my survivor pool 1/2 the people or more got eliminated and I am not one of them.

This.

I think Rodgers looks pretty good considering all the drops and terrible OLine, but Brees is going to throw like 150 TDs this year.

Clifton out at least next week.

Quote:
"Our goal going into a game is to have one sack per game, so that would be 16 for a full season," offensive coordinator Joe Philbin said. "In '07 I think we had 19, and we think 16 was a realistic goal, so we've got an awful lot of work to do. We have to protect the quarterback better. We're awful concerned about it."
Rodgers has been sacked 10 times and hit 19 times by the Bears and Bengals. Better be concerned, because ARod's going to get carried off on a stretcher by week 6.

clifton was awful last year too, i really dont think losing him is that big of deal. this is not dismissing the problem with the oline, cause thats a pretty obvious problem, i just dont think whoever is a big downgrade from clifton.

sigh...i hope to god this season isnt as frustrating as last year.

Yeah, it's just that he gets replaced with someone that was considered worse (unless it's a senority/contract thing) on the depth chart. At this point it might be time to start using the shotgun most of the time.

Cut rouse...odd move considering 2 safeties are hurt. Signed giordano, but still a really odd move

This is really baffling, especially considering its Bush that has probably single-handedly cost us 4-5 games over the years, INCLUDING the NFC championship because if you remember, he tried to scoop and score when the giants punt returner fumbled, whereas if he would've just fallen on it it would've been 1st and 10 from midfield with 2 min left, go pack go. I hate Jarrett Bush.

Brag: I got an authentic Woodsen home jersey this summer...woot! Talk to Chuck bitches!

Oh and to the person asking about Ruvell, he makes about 1 catch a game. My friend and I always called it the weekly Ruvell Martin sighting. I didn't think he was a bad receiver but not great obv.

Oh and also the St. Louis Ass Rams are going to get it in the butt this weekend.

Why he is going to throw for just under 200yds and 2TD's while Peterson/Taylor get combined yardage of 9000 yds and Taylor is going to have 2/5's of Favre passing yardage in receiving yards and one of his TD's. The inability to stop Benson and Jackson (not that they are horrible) is going to magnify tonight. Especially Jackson, I mean he is STL's only threat and he ran on us for 120+ in a game they were behind in the whole time.

That Viking front is going to cause havoc!!!! Hopefully Rodgers doesn't get carried off in a stretcher.

Yeah, I'm worried it could be as bad or worse than last year's game in Minnesota. It's so weird how bad the O-line has been.

On the bright side, we somehow had the lead with a few minutes left and then had a chance to win at the final gun.

i dont analyze the OP as much as I analyze chilly but I think McCarthys decisions were very good relative to the avg HC for the most part regarding 4ths etc. Going for it on 4th down 14 from your 2 was 100% the right play. The 2 minute drill at the end was pretty bad tho and the challenge when it was clearly a strip was horrid.

This team is just as bad as last year's. The defense is just horrible at times. The other team seems to move the ball at will. The only bright spots are Rodgers, who delivers when he gets a second to throw, and Crosby, who may be the greatest onside kicker or all time.

i dont want them to be as bad as last years team, and im not willing to give up on them just because they lost 2 games to 2 very good teams and beat teams they should beat.

cincinnati has been playing really good football, apparently they are way better than anyone thought, and the vikings are 4-0 and look like superbowl contenders.

im not chalking it up yet. i have faith the o-line can get better. they got better last year towards the end of the season, lets hope the same thing can happen again.

til then, lets play the lions and browns.

Is it just me or does Brad Childress look like that 8th grade gym teacher you had that always hung around the locker room watching you shower?

**** I HATE LOSING TO THE VIKINGS

Also did anyone else think the refs sucked? Holding call taking away Woodson's pick was chincy at best. Also on Min's first drive I saw at least 3 holds, none called.

For the Vikings to have 0 penalties was BS, but GB was offsides on that play anyways so the pass int call is a worthless complaint. However, I'm not going to complain about the penalties not called bc there is a lot more that the Packers are doing wrong

I posted that right after his first challenge. But the comment stands regardless.
