I saw every game that Kizer plated last year. The Browns were 0-15 in the games he played. His propensity to through INTs in the red zone were totally deflating. He clearly has a ton of issues as a player. Nice guy, bad player.

Randall is an up and down player who played well in the 2nd half of 2017. CleArly qqBrowns look like they got the best of this deal.

Randall is a mediocre starter on a 1 year/1 mil contract. He has an 8 million team option that has to be picked up soon. It's not super obvious if that option should be picked up, which tells you how much Randall is worth - about $8 million, short term. So he has something like $7 million in surplus value.

Kizer has value even if he never stops sucking. He makes no money, and he is better than the free to acquire QBs that make no money, like Joe Callahan. Maybe 15% of the time they turn him into a good quarterback and he has a tremendous amount of value. He's harder to value, but we can say he will typically provide a modest amount of surplus value with some fat tails on the right side. That is a nice asset to collect.

The pick swap is equivalent in value to a 5th round pick.

Trade looks pretty nice to me.

after thinking about it I think I'd be happy with 8 years / 300 million for rodgers. 100 guaranteed

jimmy graham signing a 3 year deal.

I would have preferred that we have one starting receiver who runs a faster 40 than my mother, but graham won't hurt the offense.

I'm still crossing my fingers that we trade 2 of ty, williams and jones to upgrade on offense and get one fast receiver - screw running the ball more than 10 times a game. I also wouldn't mind having a top 15 WR since we are paying adams like he is one (adams is top 6 per yr at WR).

As best I can tell, Jimmy Graham is 31 years old and was very bad when he was 30 years old. Not looking forward to finding out how much he cost.

oh so now we're cutting aging hall of fame fan favorites and signing nearly as old players who were never particularly good. Nice.

Jimmy Graham is older than Jermichael Finley.

You all should hope Kizer never plays actually. Just look at his stats and yes he was a rookie but it is also true he didn't improve as year progressed. Hundley actually has better stats plus a starting QB in three victories. Now McCarthy's brilliant coaching is going to transform Kizer into at least a decent QB? OooooKkkkkk.

Graham is a TE and the Packers have very little at that position. I am going to guess Packers are paying him $10 million a year with $15 million guaranteed. He caught 10 TDs last year, 57 passes last year and 65 the year before. The draft isn't TE rich and it takes time for TEs to develop in the NFL.

Jordy was a great Packer but he's not worth the money they're paying him now. Saw somewhere that the Packers had the slowest group of WRs in the NFL. Don't know if Jordy was offered a pay cut. Pretty sure they are going to cut Cobb too.

Not a fan of Jordy getting cut nor the Graham signing. Both seem like terrible moves.

"Is Nelson or Cobb getting cut?" has been the main topic on Packers Twitter, Reddit and all the blogs this off season. I thought it was going to be Cobb because the ARod-Jordy chemistry but I'm fine with this move. Jordy is on the decline and you can't pay three guys WR1 money.

I would have rather spent the Graham money on defense but god damn I'm going to be excited to watch him play this season.

I also really like the Mo Wilkerson signing. If he plays up to his potential, our d-line will be sick. If he's garbage, we have other guys at the position and he's off the books next year.

Now please, Gute, sign some $^#%ing CBs.

Packers just tendered an offer sheet to Kyle Fuller. Bears put the transition tag on him and have 5 days to match the Packers offer. Fuller tagged for between $12 million and $13 million. Fuller is a really good CB.

So, our answer at CB is 35 year old Tramon Williams...

Can we go back to TT already?

The Williams signing looks good to me.

There's no fixing the roster. They completely whiffed on the 2015 draft and right now those players are supposed to be at the peak of their career on the last year of their rookie contract. The Vikings have Diggs, Hunter, Waynes and Kendricks making no money from that draft. The Packers have Jake Ryan. Next year, that draft class gets paid, and the Packers are no longer at a huge disadvantage.

Was a good run. Maybe we'll be more successful with our third straight HOF QB.

Actually he a very good season playing for the Cardinals last year. He can probably do ok against most teams #3 and lower WRs. Maybe even #2s. Packers obviously relying on Kevin King to match up against opponents #1s. Can King make it through a whole season with missing games?

So we can pick up a 35 year old corner for 5 million a year but not a 32 year old Jordy for probably about the same? We insult him with a NFL minimum offer?
Green Bay Packers - Fired McCarthey Quote
03-30-2018 , 12:26 PM
Is it less insulting to give him no offer than it is to give him a minimum offer? They didn't want him back, this wasn't going to end with Jordy having a huge smile on his face.

Tramon Williams ended last year looking like a legitimate NFL starter. Jordy Nelson ended last year looking like he wasn't good enough to be on an NFL roster. I don't know how they'll play in 2018, but the Packers haven't done anything crazy here.

Where would we rank 2018 Dez among all the WRs Godgers has thrown to?

If a WR was with Rodgers for 3+ years consider the average of his best 3 years.
