Yeah, I'm gonna believe Jordy and Kuhn, especially with how cautious GB has been holding players out of games, over believing Bennett. Especially when Bennett has been known to throw his previous teams under the bus (like he did to the Bears).

Also, Bennett practiced with the Patriots, already, and is listed as questionable despite him wanting to get surgery? Willing to play through the pain with a chance at one last ring, but not for GB with Godgers out?

I'm highly more inclined to believe GB in this spot.

Also, considering the GB hasn't been listing Bennett on the injury report for pretty much the entire season, I'm even less inclined to believe Bennett. That's a rather serious rule violation he's accusing GB on top of everything else.

Edit: Actually, just checked, last week was the first time Bennett even appeared on the injury report.
Yeah, I like Marty but I believe the organization in this case. His statement doesn't make much sense and he was practicing today for NE. I wanted to take his side but all signs point to the team being in the right on this one.

Gonna go 8-8 and get a terrible pick and trade down and not improve the team and never win a Super Bowl again.

Really glad we won last week. Wonder how many spots in the draft that will cost us.

Hundley is worse than I imagined - which, shockingly, makes McCarthy worse than I imagined. He spent 2 1/2 years grooming a guy who appears to not belong in the league. And decided that if something happens to the GOAT, this is our guy.

I feel like there has to be some increasing FIRE MCCARTHY equity brewing here for the fact that he doubled down on Hundley whereas just having a normal NFL backup might have kept them more competitive than this and allowed him to save some face. But this is embarrassing. Maybe it's wishful thinking.

I'm finally hearing a lot more of my casual fan friends starting to agree that maybe McCarthy should be fired. I still doubt it happens but something is starting to brew here.

I still can't believe they are going to stick with Hundley. Halftime would have been the perfect opportunity to see if Callahan could do anything, there was nothing to lose, well besides the game itself which was already lost by leaving Hundley in.

Going to the Packers vs. Browns game in a couple of weeks. Hue Jackson is 1-25 as the head coach of the Browns. However, the Browns have a pretty good defense and are very good against the run. The Browns just self destruct on offense. Josh Gordon will be available if healthy but who knows how he'll play.

The Browns might get their first victory against the Packers if they just don't turn the ball over. If a Capers coached defense has problems stopping the Browns and a McCarthey coach offense looks like **** against the Browns maybe that will be enough to get them the axe. The Browns are almost certain to lose the next two games and be 0-12 when the face the Packers.

Maybe a stupid question, but is the process of firing/hiring a HC different because the Packers don't have a single owner?

Ted Thompson, GM, can fire McCarthey and Mark Murphy, the team president, can fire Ted Thompson. The Packers Board of Directors can fire Murphy.

No but they do have an annual meeting where people can all show up and complain if they want.

I think a big problem is without a single owner, the board is just content to have every home game sold out with a huge waiting list, and making the playoffs almost every year, whether they actually are maximizing their chances to win a superbowl or not.

Maybe, but I think the alternative of a ****ty, meddling, POS owner is much worse. At least the Board lets the football people do their thing. I would hate my team to be one of those where the owner is more of a story/focus than the players.

The Bucks are the closest in that regard, but generally, nobody outside of Bucks fans care about their owners.

So I have an opportunity to wager against the Hundley/McCarthy duo and it’s tempting. My only concerns are the Steelers playing down to the competition and a garbage time td that prevents a cover. Thoughts?
