So they release Sheffield, who like it or not would prob get us 25HRs this year (although I do agree with his release, jus sayin) yet we keep the D Train who clearly has 0 hope in life itself. Were just not gonna get anything out of him.

I think theyd be 26HRs 72RBI .252 or something along those lines. Unless hes a complete butcher at 3b which I dont think he is Id much rather have that then Inge who will prolly look something like

16HRs 49RBI .221

pecota has him at 14/55/.212 over 470 pa but pecota seems to really hate him compared to other projection systems.

also it's not a huge sample size but according to uzr he has absolutely no business playing 3b.

holy **** 14/55/.212 lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll i really dont see Larish being that bad. He has pop and if anything will almost for sure hit more then 14HRs

Those actually might be Inge's exact stats this year though, sadly.

Bondo, Willis, Zumaya on the DL.. Porcello got hit with a line drive today but is supposed to be ok, Robertson gets rocked, might not be the best april

And what sucks is were gonna have to limit Porcello to 5-6 innings most time out regardless of his performance if we expect to keep him in the rotation all year. Basically were gonna need Verlander and Jackson to give us awesome years if were gonna have a chance to win the division. Is it sad that I feel I know what to expect more from Galaragga/Porcello then Verlander?

Larish isn't going to play everyday, this just gives him a roster spot. Marcus Thames is going to benefit most in terms of ABs with this move. If he gets 500 ABs this year, he'll probably hit 35-40 HRs.

Sheffield was just on the MLB Network bitching about how Leyland told him they want to become more versatile with this move and Sheffield was saying how he is one of the most versatile players in the game and can play almost every position (including SS and CF). I lol'd

Our opening day rotation is:

Verlander/Jackson/Galarraga/Miner/Porcello (order might not be correct) With Bondo replacing Miner when he comes back.

Our pen looks like:

Robertson/Perry/Rodney/Lyon/Bonine/Seay/Rincon

Once Bondo comes back and replaces Miner, we could have a very good rotation (then again, it could be very bad too). All of our pitchers are just really hard to read right now.
