Wonder what the plan will be with him? Full time DH id imagine. That kinda sucks because it might keep them from going out and getting a bat. O well.

I don't know about that. He hurt his shoulder, not something in his leg this time. If he worked hard and got himself in good shape besides his shoulder he could do pretty well in the field. At least well enough to end Maggs playing time.

That shoulder injury really worries me though. It will be a big surprise if he still has some pop in his bat.

I think Beltre will cost a **** ton of money and I'd prefer the Tigers not sign a expensive player who keeps regressing.

He's had injury problems this year though, so we could give him a contract that isn't ginormous with incentives built in. Hopefully not just PA and game incentives though, like actual impact numbers of some sort.
