Going to GR for a night with wifey for our 1st anniversary, any recommendations on restaurants. Not looking some really fancy but maybe a nice gastropub or something along those lines. Any help is appreciated.

Finally getting over the 10+ mark

Obv Founders is going to rate high if you want to drink beer, but atmosphere is meh for an anniversary. Food is good, but definitely an after thought there.

I went to Trillium Haven about 2 weeks ago and it was very good. Service was lacking, just in that she didn't seem super informed but w/e.

Stella's has great burgers, but like Founders atmosphere is meh.

GRBC is kind of like a hybrid, between Trillium and a place like Founders. They've got a great chicken sandwich which I happened to order the first time I ate there and was so good I seriously doubt I'll ever get anything else there.

I've never been, but I've heard good things about The Grove. Have a feeling it possibly doesn't qualify as "gastropub".

The Green Well right across the street probably also qualifies. I've been there quite a bit so that's got to say something positive about the place you'd think (or something bad about me idk).

Have ate at Stella's numerous times so that's off the list.

Might do GRBC as we enjoyed the atmosphere last time we were there
