At the time of writing his "insensitive" comment had not been published yet. Still this is a game played by men and between men there is no room for "insensitivity". If he makes such comments, there are other ways to deal with it.

My WDTV doesn't get supported by mlb.com anymore, so I had to switch to Apple TV 2nd generation, which is abysmal. Absolutely unbelievable how bad that device is. Unstable, user menu, hide spoilers bugged, totally terrible. That pretty much spoiled the fun for me. Also the team isn't bad enough to get angry anymore, but not good enough to get excited either. Somehow everything is mediocre these days, so my enthusiasm is gone. Still I watch the first couple of innings of every game, but that's it.

It is really impressive just how godawful this team is at defense. Just this inning, Candelario boots a ball, Adduci can't field a short hop, McCann can't field the overthrow. Goodrum can't handle a pop foul. Earlier in the game Goodrum throws one past Adduci. Just ****ing brutal. Iglesias and Jones might be the only two league average fielders at their position.

Castellanos looks completely unathletic in RF but he's actually made a couple decent plays the last few games.

Zimmerman getting belted around of course.

And hey we signed Zach McAllister, it's like having Fernando Rodney without the consistency!

If I weren't so lazy I'd be curious to look up whether Goodrum is the worst defensive 2B in the majors. At least he looks vaguely like a major league caliber player at the plate.

Previously the team had good players but played terribly. Now the team has bad players who play as good as they can. They certainly fixed the coaching problem, but you can't expect anything from this team for years to come. If Castellanos is our best player then we have a serious problem.

You aren't going to get more than a couple used baseballs and a bag of Utz chips for Norris at this point. He's still young and the rebuild is going to take a while. He'll be back next season.

Also: LOL Yankees. Splitting with this team at home and having to sweat the wins even.
