But we haven’t played anyone good other than Cleveland

Pit cws balt and kc are bottom 20% like us

Going to be hard to break 70 wins this year.

That doesn’t really help us though. We need to finish last for a few years. Finishing 12th pick while finishing 79-81 isn’t going to cut it.

It will be interesting whom they pick this year. The funny thing is that Brady Singer is rated no. 1 at the moment, but I don't like him at all. The problem is that the guy that I would pick, Kumar Rocker, is only ranked 17th and drafting a guy that low can hardly be justified.

Wish I'd seen the game today. Not only did the Tigazzz bullpen go 6 innings giving up zero runs (only 2 hits, 2 walks), it ended with JOHN HICKS bunting for a hit down the first base line against the shift. Glorious stuff.

Thanks to the search function it is easy to verify that I always recommended Gardenhire.

Watching the Tigers this season is like watching a totally different team. They never give up and they don't make stupid mistakes anymore. What a difference!

Finally something that I can complain about: Selecting Casey Mize was a mistake because this guy is going to end up on the shelf with shoulder issues.

The problem is that the published rankings virtually forced this selection. The guy they should have picked, Kumar Rocker, just got ranked "by the experts" way too low to get picked overall first.

Actually, I didn't follow it up, so I don't what happened to Rocker. As far as I know he threw 98mph at the age of 18 which projects him to 100mph+, but apparently he wasn't drafted yet. That is pretty weird. Injury or PEDs? Obviously it must be something that all the insiders know, but that you can't read in the newspapers (yet).

Funny, we can still draft Rocker in the 3rd round. He is overall ranked 23rd, but there is also the 18th ranked dude available. Still room to blunder I guess.

Fun the catch the last few innings of last night's game. Coleman, Jiminez and Greene setting 'em down. Miggy and Victor in a competition to see who can be fatter and slower while hitting two base ropes. Good times. This team may suck but at least they're pretty entertaining.
