Every game I try to sit down and watch and I just can't do it. After watching the 100th consecutive forced jump shot I get disgusted and change the channel.

Not sure I understand that logic at all...would you rather them finish the year 30-36, get the 8 seed and get swept and have a ****ty draft pick and zero future?

Finish with the worst overall record, lockup that top 4 pick, then next year we likely finish in the 6th-10th worst record range and land another top 10 pick and then we're back in business.

A nice young up and coming team is something we haven't had in forever, the 2000's Pistons weren't really "young" or considered up and coming. We had guys that weren't projected to be that great come pretty damn close to their ceiling.

I know these are dark times, but it's still fun to watch Monroe and Knight. The score doesn't really matter except for the fact that we really are better off if we lose. C&C has the right idea imo. Anyways, if anybody wants to be cheered up about the Pistons I would recommend reading the hands down best article ever written on the Pistons. (there's a good chance I've already posted that article itt, but whatever, I read it at least once a year and always get chills)

I agree, but 15-51 prolly gets us the 3rd shot in the lottery, so we'd be picking 6th at worst, but 1st much much more likely than 5th or 6th.

Anthony Davis would truely be the perfect Detroit Piston. Starting opposite of Monroe he's everything on defense that Monroe isn't. A great shot blocker with great athleticism.

A core of Davis/Monroe/Jonas/Knight + 2013 lottery pick is one that can turn into a championship team. Gotta get Davis though.
