brandon inge getting a hit in a random at bat is higher than our odds of binking the #1 pick

Jeremy Lamb
Austin Rivers
Terrance Ross
Terrance Jones
Jared Sullinger
Perry Jones III

IMO those are the 6 we will be targeting (in order of what id like to see). Odds are all probably 50/50 that all 6 will be there when we pick. The only one I can see being selected before 9 is Lamb.

I think there's still a decent chance we end up with the best player in the draft if it's Lamb or Rivers, hell, even Ross. Just a ton of potential for all 3. If we do something ******ed like take Sullinger or Jones III it'll really sower me on next year and ill prolly root for another tank job.

We've all hit 1 outers before, there is still a small chance we can land Davis or MKG!

terrence jones is a ton better than perry jones, we all know this

haven't seen much of ross, but if he couldnt single handedly lead washington to the tournament, that's not a good sign

of course i like rivers a ton more than lamb, he's great on the pick and roll and has a better handle whereas lamb is more of a catch and shoot guy

Drummond/Monroe is a solid combo.

The big problem with this team, is that I feel like all the players, fully developed, have a fairly low ceiling. Even if they develop to their full potential, I just don't know that I see a team with a core of Drummond/Monroe/Knight plus a couple other pieces being better than a perennial 3/4 seed in the East and maybe sniff 1 NBA finals appearance. I think they've done as well as they can in their situation, but with Detroit not being a great Free Agent destination, I don't see how this team becomes a championship contender barring winning a top 2-3 pick next year and getting a superstar wing player.

If Drummond develops to his full potential, he's Dwight Howard 2.0. Of course, he won't. It all really depends on Knight. He has to show some real improvement next year.

Drummond will take 3 years to develop so he'll be an ongoing project regardless of his level of play.

Yeah Knight is the key. If he takes a step forward we are in pretty good shape. If he doesn't improve we have NO shot at becoming a contender unless we bink a top 3 pick next year.

Drummond becoming D. Howard would be amazing. Prolly only a ~3-5% chance that happens though. If he can be an elite defender that'll be good enough though.

Shabazz Muhammad would be a dream to get in next years draft. That elite level wing we desperately need to finish this whole rebuilding project off.

We get him and sign a key piece of 2 with all this cap room and we will be back in business pretty damn quick.

Even if we pick 8-12 or whatever next year, we could maybe make a run at a wing like Rudy Gay. A lot of options for us now.

i mean, ffs:

- Shoots under 30% from the FT line
- Scored 2 pts in the NCAA tournament despite being a 7FT freak athlete black guy
- 18 years away from nba ready
- might never be an offensive player
- lol uconn

Seriously. I'm so excited about this pic. And I agree with others that knight is the key, but man...Drummond...I never thought we had a chance at him. Awesome.

All Valenti was talking about yesterday was how we HAD to trade up to 6 to get Drummond, it was a move we just had to make.

We sat and got him at 9. He better be slurping this pick.

Drummond preseason stats so far (54 minutes in 3 games):
16-22 FGs
11 Orebs
0 TOs
10 PFs

Seriously, we are going to be damn good in a few years if we can add 1 more piece through the draft and stay healthy.
