There's something about having a WR who can just fly. Even if he's not incredibly productive, just the fact that he can burn you with his speed is enough to keep defenses honest.
I do sometimes think too much is made of whether a guy is a slot or an outside receiver. If you can run routes and catch the ball, you're a receiver. But there is something to being able to run the full route tree and spread the defense out. H
is RAS is OK. Decent athleticism, poor size. I'm not thrilled with giving up a 5th rounder for a guy who couldn't get off Denver's practice squad and had a decent chance of being available. It's a sign of some desperation at WR.
