it really is a must win game for the Lions. If we win, the Vikings most likely finish 9-7

that means the lions only need to go 2-3 in the last 5 games to lock up the division.

If we lose, MINN is most likely 10-6, and the lions would have to go 4-1 to tie them, and we have NYG and DAL left

But yeah, win, and the division is looking good (since we have the tie breaker then)

I love how much praise Stafford has been getting when the offense has been pretty ass for a lot of the year. Previous Lions teams have been so much better, can't believe this one is the one that has a shot at the division.

No Calvin, no running game, and lots of drops. Stafford hasnt been perfect but he has been average in the first three quarters of each game and then godlike in the 4th.

Also the NFC North is really bad, which helps. Im pretty sure they get exposed as the shiniest turd in the toilet by some combo of NO, NY, and DAL.

I disagree. We have been with 7 points all 11 games. We are not crushing anyone, but haven't been crushed either.

Just have to win a few more games to get that home playoff game.

Saints are beatable, but we'll need the offense to click for four quarters (this is very doable against the Saints).

I think we get the Bears and one more game fairly safely, which might well be enough to win the division; that would lead to a home game vs like NY or Washington, both of which are winnable.

Right, just win 2 of the last 5, then we get NYG or WASH or Minnesota at home. Win that, then figure out a way to win @Dallas or @Seattle and pray the other quarterfinal is an upset and we host the NFC title game.

That's the road to the super bowl now.

Can't decide whether to attend the MNF game @ DAL.

Positives: Never been to DAL, exciting playoff implications, excuse to get out of xmas obligations, stafford goats there

Negatives: expensive, probably going to lose

Other option is to wait and fly to Detroit for a home playoff game. Never been there either. Are theoretical playoff tickets on sale already?

can't keep settling for fg's in the red zone. should have 17 pts on the board at minimum.

stafford needed to call TO on that 3rd and 7 final drive of half. had 3 left with a minute to go and wrs didn't understand the call.
