We lost to Titans at home. Nothing is guaranteed.
The saddest thing about Stafford is we all may never know how good he is unless he gets a chance to play for a legit organization that's serious about winning. I mean, think about Stafford's image over the years. He's always been seen as a good but flawed QB. But the truth is that's probably as good as it gets for a Lions QB. Chances are if Lions drafted Montana/Brady/ect their image would be the exact same. And if Stafford got to play for the Pats, and I mean play for the Pats in his prime......well we'll probably never know how good he'd be. Curse of the Lions man.
Same goes for Barry. There are still many, probably most, people out there who don't even realize that Barry is the best RB to ever play the game, ainec. Barry crushed his peers the same way Jordan and Gretzsky did, but yet most people actually think there's a real argument as to who the best RB is and often times they're not even considering Barry. One of the great tragedies in sports history is the Lions drafting and wasting a once in a 4 generations talent like Barry. As least Jordan and Gretzy weren't wasted. And at least this type of tragedy can't happen in baseball. In that sport there are enough advanced stats for even regular joes to understand that Trout is historically awesome despite the fact that he's stuck on a terrible team.
