wat

Caldwell and Lombardi didn't let Stafford throw the ball downfield last year because LOL THEM and now the line is so terrible the only thing they can do is quick slant or a back shoulder pass 10 yards down the field

You guys think HARBAUGH can coach two teams at the same time? It would be geographically convenient.

Article in the freep today where tate says defenders are telling him they know what plays are coming. Both staffords ints the guys appeared to have read the play by the formation. Thats all Lombardi.

We've gone from an aggressive stupid team under Schwartz to a cowardly stupid team under Caldwell. I'd rather have Schwartz-style every time.

Re: Detroit Lions: Kill Bill

Golden Tate completely tossing Lombardi under the bus is pretty awesome. That is the most damning thing for an offensive coordinator. Unfortunately, we will get Caldwell calling plays and it was still be terribad playing with one less down because Joique Bell runs end up somewhere in between -2 and 2 yards

Rodgers wouldn't have become Rodgers if he was drafted by Detroit.

To the surprise of no one, Johnson isn't complaining about his role in the offense.

"'I'm just going out there and doing exactly what I'm coached and doing exactly what I'm supposed to do and just trying to help this team win," he said. "I'm going to stick within what's in the game plan and do what I've got to do."

As for Lions coach Jim Caldwell, he's sticking to cliches, saying every game plan is different and the team is just taking what opponents give them.
I sense a little annoyance in Calvin's comments.

As for Caldwell...UGH. "take what opponents give you?" They're giving us 1 yard on 1st, none on 2nd, and 6 on 3rd. I don't think offense is supposed to be reactionary.

Lose tonight and season is over, and its rebuild time. Win and we have hope. For some reason im actually expecting them to win today.

we're the only winless team in the nfl. lolz

again, i hope we either win or get embarrassed. worst case scenario is we lose by <7 and get a week of caldwell talking about our improvement and execution

Re: Detroit Lions: Kill Bill

Maybe they get Ameer and Zenner going on the ground a bit, force a red zone INT, and keep it a close snooze fest for 4 quarters they can put Stafford in a spot where he can work his 4th quarter magic and they pull this win out of their hoohas. Then maybe this team will drag this season out just long enough to finish with back to back losses vs. Chi & SF to miss the playoffs.

I think Lions win this game tonight. Lynch being out is huge. If Matt Stafford can get enough protection I think the Lions have enough big play weapons to do some damage. Stafford needs to take care of the football though.
