Yeah but they misplayed the whole situation so bad with pushing money back in his contract that they should have him this year

Suh most likely would of stayed in Detroit if they offered him a big enough contract early enough in the process. The lions should of had opened the check book way before the start of the his last season here where he knew he was in control of the situation. Mayhew set it up to where Suh/his agent knew the lions couldnt franchise him because of Mayhews contract restructuring so the lions had zero leverage for Suhs free agency.

Things get a lot easier after Arizona. I had hoped for a 2-3 start but that isn't happening anymore. Still a lot of Chicago, Oakland, St. Louis, New Orleans and SF types upcoming.

Defense looks like ass and why even bother trying to run? 5th place schedules are fun, 2016 should be a good one.

.

Preseason I thought we could easily win vs the teams you just listed but I'm just not sure with what I've seen. SF beat Minnesota who just stomped us so dont expect that to be a easy win late in the year. NO and STL road games wont be easy for this team. Bears we could win vs twice but a split wont be surprising. Oakland we should win but who knows Oakland looked explosive this week and for sure could pull off a upset vs us.

Now their talking about sitting Stafford this week. We could be looking at going into week 3 with Dan O vs Manning and the broncos lol.

Explain to me how the special teams coach doesn't know it's illegal to line up that way? I'm sure he makes half a million a year. Jfc

it was Slay's fault. He wasn't supposed to be on the line.

Can't wait for 10/18. Might be the biggest game of the season. Must lose. @New Orleas is an auto loss, as is @Chicago.

Lombardi should be fired for calling another ****ing run out of the gun on a critical 2pt. conversion.

I'd have to look again but I think Staff audibles to that play there. He should be fired for other reasons obv.

I'd fire the whole lot of these clowns with good reason. Mayhew is complete balls. If I was the owner I'd of fired him as soon as I heard Ebron was drafted. Taking Donald with Suh/Fairley being free agents was the most automatic pick. Instead in true MillenMayhew fashion he goes pass catcher we dont need and not the good pass catcher ODB or amaing OL Z.Martin.

I've watched damn near every Stafford lions game. I've seen more then enough to know hes crap. He can get some stats catching up from behind. His best stuff was throwing jump balls to prime time Calvin. Actually I was telling a buddy I'd trade him for nothing just to unload conract or give up a late pick just to move on.

Lombardi is complete crap. His play calling is conservative and boring Hes gotta go.. I'd be open to letting the rest of the coaching staff stay for a year if my new GM wants.

I also feel bad Calvin had to spend his best years playing for the lions. This team sucks they should at least try to force feed him the ball. Staffords only productive plays r throwing it up and hoping Calvin goes amazing mode.

Pretty gross feeling knowing the season is over in week 3. We are a huge dog to even split our next two games.

Back on the Ebron is a huge donkey train.

What the hell happened to megatron? He is the Roy Halladay of football. From elite to **** with no in between.

Calvin had a highlight real catch yesterday as well as a huge td grab in week 2. He may have lost a step but he is still elite. Lombardi has injected this offense with a big bucket of AIDS. I never thought I would long for the days of Stafford just chucking balls in the air at random, but here we are.

Hard to blame the OC or Stanford when the line + Ebron gets blown up every single ****ing play.

The line gets blown up everyplay because they at times run schemes that have them trying to block V.miller with Ebron solo. Ebron should never even block because hes bad at it let alone be trying to 1v1 one of the best pass rushers in the league. Actually I'm not sure what Ebron is quite good besides being big and fast but he counters that with the drops.

SOL kind of implies there is some sort of angelic false hope during the season.

outside of the 0-16 fiasco, this is the saddest lions team ever.

and because there are only a dozen people on the planet who can play NFL QB well, we are stuck with Stafford for at least another five years. JFC.

I even thought Manning looked pretty bad too. His passes were slow, wobbly, and off target. About the only thing he did well was take advantage of a 1-on-1 size mismatch with some underthrown jump balls that slay misplayed. His decision making may still be elite but he throws like an 11 year old girl.

The O-Line is terrible but there were plenty of plays where Stafford had time and did nothing, same for the first two games. I dont know what the crap to do with this team. Stafford's mediocrity shows when the rest of the team falls apart like this. Mayhew is primarily to blame, and under no circumstances should he be in charge of another draft. I like Caldwell personally, but he is responsible for Lombardi and this crap-tacular offense.

No way we have Stafford another 5 years. Man, I was so damn hyped about Stafford too. He seemed reasonably intelligent when speaking, had ridiculous swag, and after that MIC'd up Cleveland Browns game his rookie year, I thought we legit had a franchise guy.

So ****ing depressing.
