Hoping for OT/G Cordy Glenn in the first round. We desperately need O-line help in the form of a first rounder. Some other good options: Riley Reiff (OT) but he probably won't drop or David DeCastro (G). I expect one or two will be available. With LeShoure and Best back next year, we seriously need some better protection and run blocking.

I figured loss was likely before kickoff. Just glad every other wildcard team lost. If I had to guess we will get the 6 seed, Atlanta will get 5 seed. Bears may lose out. Between Cowboys & Giants one wins division and since they face off twice the other probably misses the playoffs - definitely if sweep. No idea who Atlanta plays.

We gotta be 60-70% to playoff.

From this its basically a lock Atlanta makes it esp with the tiebreaker against us. If Dallas can sweep the Giants that would be nice, either way one of them is a lock to lose either one or two more games - this helps us tremendously. Another thing in our favor is if the Giants win the division it means the Cowboys have two more losses minimum and since we have the tiebreaker 2 wins gets us in in this scenario. That leaves Chicago who couldn't score a touchdown against Kansas City and Forte may be done for the year. Yeah, they are gg.

Just win next week and we will be like 80% to get in. Even if we somehow lose, lol, we could still win 2 of the last 3 and likely make it. I believe if we get to 9-7 we will make it.

Wishful thinking. Burleson is called for the same penalty three straight times. Both Young and Logan commit completely idiotic penalties that will be called 99 times out of 100. Hopefully they learn from it and polish off the Vikings next week in short order, but I'll believe they've matured when I see it.

Best scenario next week is... CAR def ATL, DEN def CHI, DAL def NYG, and we win. That doesn't clinch by any means but it makes 9-7 playoff birth nearly a lock. Of all these games imo we most want Atlanta to lose due to the tiebreaker.

It's impossible for both the Cowboys and the Giants to go 10-6. Bears LOL if they don't do something about the QB (I think they're going down). I believe they can fill in for Forte. So if the Lions win their next 3 (Vikings, at Raiders, Chargers) they'll be at worst 10-6 and will make the playoffs. Peterson is supposed to be out next week, Vikings have a terribad secondary, Lions roll. Playing at Oakland could be a challenge but maybe not so much. Turner is a lame duck for the Chargers. Even if Lions lose to Raiders they have a shot against the Packers. But really I think that if the Lions win the next 3, the last game of the year will be meaningless.
