Rams fan here. I'm pretty sure we'll take Clausen based on need, lack of other options, and the amount of picks and money we've spend on defensive linemen recently. Even if we think Suh is the best player in the draft, I expect Clausen to be the pick unless Spags loves Jason Campbell or wants to take a flier on someone like Vick or Tavaris (which I just can't see him doing). So...enjoy Suh.

Donkey Kong with the #2 pick is the ideal scenario, better than having to pay him extra for the #1 pick. Just need Jimmy to not get beat up too badly in any bar fights between now and the draft.

If we're unable to trade out of the 2nd pick, I can't see us going anywhere but Suh/McCoy, which could give us a D-Line that isn't bottom 5 in the league for the first time since the days when we had Big Daddy Wilkinson and Shaun Rogers on the interior. Kinda sad that Vandenbosch is the best pass rusher the Lions have had since Robert Porcher.

I couldn't ask for a better pick at 2 personally. Those in the know will love this pick.

If they stick to their board of going BAP i think the pick is 100% going to be Suh. If they trade down to go for need rather than BAP then Okung could very well be the pick. Schwartz has said he doesn't like doing that though.

I believe that is always the first step.

Look lets not forget about suhs 2 major knee injuries. Okung doesn't have those problems.

Okung is a man beast. 6'6 310 38 reps. He would step in and be the best pass blocker on the team.

Suh is the best player in this draft and if there was a rookie salary cap like in nba I would take him. But no dt is worth paying 10 million dollars a year out of college.

Okung is rated a spot below suh but if you factor in his position and the fact we drafted matthew stafford last year. And stafford got the crap beat out of him every game cause of jeff backus. I think we can all agree that paying a left tackle 10 million dollars makes more sense than a dt.

Drafting okung solves 2 positions for us. There are just so many pluses to drafting okung.

Suh is not perfect and with his health history hes far from guaranteed. There is no reason to believe his knees will last 10 years after being surgically repaired.
