Look lets not forget about suhs 2 major knee injuries. Okung doesn't have those problems.
Okung is a man beast. 6'6 310 38 reps. He would step in and be the best pass blocker on the team.
Suh is the best player in this draft and if there was a rookie salary cap like in nba I would take him. But no dt is worth paying 10 million dollars a year out of college.
Okung is rated a spot below suh but if you factor in his position and the fact we drafted matthew stafford last year. And stafford got the crap beat out of him every game cause of jeff backus. I think we can all agree that paying a left tackle 10 million dollars makes more sense than a dt.
Drafting okung solves 2 positions for us. There are just so many pluses to drafting okung.
Suh is not perfect and with his health history hes far from guaranteed. There is no reason to believe his knees will last 10 years after being surgically repaired.
