Yeah. The comparison to Russell Wilson is unavoidable, but from what I can tell Murray is faster and has a stronger arm
There's a real chance he's gone by #8.
The Lions have the cap room to make some free agency splashes if they choose to this year. They could go after a WR. Going after Tate would be hilarious. I'm not sure if that's a realistic option. He chose to test the market rather than accept what the Lions were offering, and maybe it will backfire, and the Lions can get him cheaper plus the 3rd rd. pick.
Cole Beasley is a free agent, and while he's no Tate, he could provide some spark from the slot position.
Or maybe they get in on the Antonio Brown sweepstakes. I wouldn't mind seeing him a Lions jersey.
On the defensive side Landon Collins might be available. While Walker & Diggs are a decent pairing, Collins is elite, and it would be nice to see them go after top tier talent every once in a while.
We'll see if they go after a backup QB in free agency. My vote is Ryan Fitzpatrick. Smart guy, fun to watch play, and can provide a nice veteran presence at a reasonable price.
