Man Gallup is FRUSTRATING. I don't know how many drops that was, but too many. I would love to see them go get another WR. I think Cooks is starting to finally flash a little. But I'd love to see them bring in a big body that can actually separate.
Also warranted Dak criticism aside (although I thought he played very well yesterday), the offence Fat Mike is calling is absolutely brutal. If Moore was way too complicated, Mike is way too basic.
I'd have to think we could run SOME screens, a bit more play action, keep those designed Dak RPO's going. The ppg drop off since Moore left is just way too drastic for essentially the same personnel.
Happy to get that W, falling to .500 and staying two games back after the Jets of all teams did us a favor on Sunday woulda been brutal.
That said, I feel like this Chargers team is like a clone of us underperforming-wise and just out-dysfunctioned us last night. Having two different guys in the secondary holding on 3rd and 19 is really something special, without that play we probably lose.

Yeah but you can play that game on our side too. The dumb too many men's, etc.
I wanna know how the heck we had a Charger rushing off the edge on Dak every 4th godamn play. The amount of contacted he managed to duck was absurd. What's up with the protection?
Pollard is not the problem, he is still amongst the league leaders in forced missed tackles per touch. He is the most dynamic weapon Dallas has, as he proved on the game breaking play vs the Chargers (honorable mention to Turpin). He is also one of the best receiving backs in the league as well ...
It's criminal we don't use Turpin more. I get that he is small but he took a lot of touches in the USFL without ever having any problems. He has sooooooo much juice !
not a cowboys fan but would've taken Lamb given Dak is 30 and RBs max out at $200k/yr these days. pollard does seem special, even if underperforming this year. did their o-line regress? felt like they were an elite unit for the last 5+ years. i recognize tyron smith and zack martin but not the others.

This o line hasn't been "elite" since 2016 lol (just for fun go take a look at how many games Tyron Smith has played since then)
