Not that I'm gonna complain about Fat Mike finally becoming aggressive on 4th down, but anybody think that was a slightly weird spot for it? I like the "run on 3rd and re-evaluate" thing in general, but I'd prefer it with 4yds or less to go, and then going for it if you get within 2yds.

I hope it doesn't turn into a thing where now he's confirmed his own biases that going for it is dumb, and we kick a bunch of 18yd FGs this year.

I am not expecting a great year. This is the team we deserve.

I'm happy for Aldon though. Will be interesting when Gregory is back too.

This roster went downhill in a hurry, but at least they’re okay at WR & TE. Beyond that I don’t even know where to begin. Zeke better work some things out soon or 2021 is it for him. So many underperforming players.

Right now I’m borderline convinced that maybe they should just give Dak whatever he wants and work around his money. Even coming off of injury I think I’m trust him about as much as anyone on the roster to live up to it.

Yup 9-8 was my original season prediction, seems pretty spot on now. Sadly the roster only goes down hill from here bc of paying Dak and he def can't elevate talent as any game without Amari Cooper has shown ...

But those games were also without Tyron Smith and a lot of the D. It's been more than just Amari.

That 5 sack a year Dlaw pressure isn't all that much anyways. Gregory will help, but Dallas has their best pass rusher perfectly healthy.

You cried and cried saying probably 9-8. I said relax, have you seen the injuries. Most of the pass rush is out, Amari, Ceedee, Tyron, etc.

You proceeded to go on some red herring about how Tyron played last game, which has nothing to do with them losing. They scored more than enough points to win. They lost due to the D and penalties.

I don't know what else to tell you. When healthy they'll be fine in a short playoff where you just need to get hot for a few games. Lots of big players getting hurt, we just need to have ours there late in the season. So far we've not lost anyone huge for the season. I'll take it.

Thank God the D is healthy, because the offence does not inspire much confidence

I dunno, you could make an excellent case for this being true of Kyler and Rustle during the exact same period (but we'd probably never say that of either of them).

I don't think Dak is fully healthy, personally. The gap in his play from earlier on is too big for him to be right.

That was my thinking too. It feels like we're in for one of those news stories the day after we get eliminated, talking about how Dak just went in for successful surgery for [insert nagging leg injury here that he played through for last 8 games or whatever].

It doesn't help that his receivers are dropping balls all over the field. Ceedee has to sort that **** out.

I had hoped they'd be able to sit guys once they were too far out of contention for the bye. But looks like we're in a dogfight now.

Kind of crazy to think the #2 team still has the "pleasure" of hosting someone like the Vikes, 49ers, etc. I gotta admit I'd love a shot to face the Eagles in the first round. Hopefully they run a bit hot.



I'm not sure how we get that run/pass distribution back to 40/60 or 50/50 as it clearly had teams totally off balance. Maybe with our RB's health we never get there. I'd just settle for the return of those really creative screens and a more effective play action. Btw our kicker missing all these xp's is hilarious. He's another one that needs help.
