Cowboys FB Tony Fiammetta has resumed exercising, which he was previously unable to do while recovering from an undisclosed illness.
To this point, Fiammetta had become nauseous whenever he tried to do strenuous physical activity. On Monday, Fiammetta was spotted on an exercise bike. The Cowboys play their Week 13 game at Arizona. Fiammetta may not be immediately available, but it sounds like he'll be back for the final few games.
The Dallas Morning News reports the Cowboys don't expect FB Tony Fiammetta (illness) to return in Week 13, and are "unsure" of his status for the rest of the season.
DeMarco Murray's lead blocker was thought to be making progress toward a return after he was spotted on an exercise bike Monday, but it sounds like his mysterious illness has him in danger of landing on injured reserve. Since Murray became the lead back in Dallas, he's averaged an eye-popping 8.0 yards per carry with Fiammetta in the lineup, but just 3.4 without him.
Cowboys only a 4 pt favorite and the giants only a 7 pt underdog. meanwhile the colts are a 20 pt underdog which is the highest i've ever seen in an nfl game.
Our being 4pt faves over AZ is understandable. We just beat one mediocre team at home on a last-second FG, and then the week before, needed OT (and some luck) to beat another. Not exactly setting the world on fire...
10 years ago Jerry drafted Quincy Carter because he wanted his own Donovan McNabb. Think he puts in a claim for the real, albeit over the hill, McNabb now?

I think so. He figures to be $1.9m for 6 games + any playoffs, and Kitna's hurt for another 2 weeks at least if he's not just done. Doubt he falls that far though.
I'm a little surprised he made it through waivers. I guess the $2m was too much for 6 games for everyone?
Still seems like a serviceable backup at least. Maybe he's hurt or there's something I'm missing. Could be that he/his agent thinks he can find a starting job elsewhere and won't be a backup.
I haven't seen a team get outcoached like that since.... the Philly game a few weeks ago.
Just awful on every single level from the first drive. The end of the game is inexcusable for all involved. Dez caught that pass with ~22 seconds left with 2 TO's. How you fail from there in the manner they did is something a 4 year old playing Madden couldn't even accomplish.
i almost broke my computer when they didnt call TO freaking out at it
then i broke my R key in half because i slammed it shut on the winning TD
just so infuriating to blow the game like that. NYG basically a lock to go into OT, win, and then DAL must sweep to make playoffs. unbelievable. I havent been this furious about a game in a long time.
And wtf happened to the run game? the balanced offense? 42 passes by Romo, that probably was like 49 dropbacks. and 18 carries. nice thats nice.
Love Garrett, Love Romo, Love Bailey. All three just...wow.
I'm just going to go on record and say when your qb throws for 300 yards and your team has no TO's. You shouldn't ever lose. Really felt like Garrett went back to pass happy boy today.
