Yeah that was awful. With the field that chewed up, and how the oline was doing on short yardage downs, that was atrocious. A miss or a stuff puts Godgers at the same place with 34 seconds left. The downside is so small.

Yep you can't just let him stand there all day, have to capitalize better. Had a chance to go up 21-7 at a point and fumbled. That can't happen. 3rd and 15 can't be converted. Sterling Moore can't look like such a clown repeatedly.

As far as Dez catch that's an incredibly inconvenient rule but it's never being called a catch because of the way it's written.

I have no issue with losing on that reversal. They applied the rule right, it's just a bad rule.

My issues:

-Romo continues to take weird sacks in spots where much younger QBs know to throw it away.

Terrible rule, tough loss, close game. Teams are evenly matched pretty much. The Cowboys I'm sure will focus on 'D' in the draft. As they say the Cowboys arrow is pointing up.

If GB/Seattle had epic potential would still be a little excited but don't see that happening.

A lot of those defensive nobodies and reclamation projects Dallas brought in have expiring contracts so I see lots of defensive picks coming but have been wrong on that how many years? Dez is staying LDO but Murray and Free are the only major offensive guys they're replacing but there are lots more depth guys there too. I used to think Beasley might not warrant the 2nd round tender but now pretty clear they have to do at least that.

Other than maybe a Rd 1 WR and maybe safety they could draft basically any position and justify it.

Crawford, Brent, Mincey, T. McClain & Lawrence return on the line which needs work but cost little. That's a start at least and they look a little more useful than they did before the year.

So I really don't know. Wouldn't even be amazed to see a G or T drafted higher? Parnell and Free aren't under contract not sure they're worth outbidding folks for.

FIRE UP THE MOCK DRAFTS

Nothing to be mad about. Sucks no Conference game but they played well in a tough game and the entire season. No bizarre collapses and tailspins into awfulness. Romo haters chomping at the bit all year for lolromo ending somewhere and get no payoff. Plus Greear's impotent rage still paying off a week later.

fwiw I wouldn't be shocked by QB either where they're drafting. If JJ was seriously considering Johnny JamBoogie at #16 it's obviously on the table in the late 20s with Romo a year older. Weeden clearly not an answer...unless Dustin Vaughan really turned some heads it looks to me like they can't pass on a decent QB prospect.

Only thing disappointing is Romos one year older and hasn't made the dance. But yeah, hard to be too torn up about the season. Exceeded everyones expectations.

All my Seahawk friends are (rightfully imo) stoked GB pulled it out.

Eta: Except for one who wanted to prove Seattle is better than Dallas after losing to them early in the regular season. Lol at that tho.
