oh yeah, because all Philadelphia fans are classless. I see you keep up to date on your sports cliches.

Rafiki, hoping for a player to lose time from injury is not a good look. We are really not at all better off in our own team's chances with it happening, as well

We shall agree to disagree. If mid Super Bowl the other team loses their star player and we face them the second half minus that guy, I'm fist pumping. I'm not going "oh I wonder what this will look like".

Plenty of time to feel for Wentz later on. He's being paid a lot of money in a contact sport.

I do more business in Philadelphia these days than any city in the country, and not only is my wife is from there and she's worked for the organization. I've probably attended more Eagles games between the Vet and Linc than 95% of Eagles fans have. Boxes and all.

You tell me that Eagles fans are passionate or hardcore meat and potatoes working class folks, whatever. But don't come around like it's some unfair stereotype that poor misunderstood Philly fans got saddled with. It's marginally better than it was but that's probably because the nut low have been priced out of the stadium.

Also let us not get too PC in our own thread here.

The Eagles of Philadelphia are ****.

Their fans are ****.

These are our mortal enemies. I take pleasure in knowing their season just went down the toilet like a steamy turd. Watson going down sucked. Heck even Godgers. But I shed no tears for anyone in Green in that city. They can all eat dicks frankly.

+1 to Minirra.

I’ve attended about 10 Cowboys games total and by far the most boorish, contemptible opposing fans were at Dallas/Philly. It’s not even remotely close.

Cowboy fan tears by far the tastiest.

I’m not saying all Philly fans are terrible. There’s some fictional ones who seem pretty cool.

Watching a game with Jim Halpert or the guys from It’s Always Sunny would probably be okay.

Man I had a glance in the Eagles thread yesterday. The bleakness actually made my dick swell.

Well we still have a sweat. Think we can win out with Zeke back.

Need ATL to blow it tomorrow please.

What a whacky game. The dream’s alive for another week. How sweet would a Bucs upset be tomorrow night.

Feel like a real team would destroy us. Hopefully the Seahawks are an injury riddled mess next week.

Zeke's great but looking at the six games he missed I doubt he would have changed the outcome for any of them positively for us. Our three losses during that span were blowouts.

I hate the 18yd FG in that spot, I get that no coach ever goes for it but still annoying...I feel like we give up a tying or go-ahead score like 75% of the time there.

The thing is, without Zeke they just randomly abandon the run. Like tonight for example, they were running up and down the field (especially in the 1sr half) and would kill drives throwing incomplete passes / INT.

Plus, personnel-wise Morris and Smith are good substitutions, but one is more of a runner and one is more of a scat / receiver. Whereas Zeke is both threats at once.

yeah, "weak tight" for sure lol. Like, worst case scenario is them with the ball on the 6yd line. Of course never getting stopped there as evidenced by the stats they showed earlier - 25/27 on 4th and 1. And the QB draw earlier was about as bad as one can go and still got a yard.

Atlanta's last three games are @Tampa, @Saints, and vs Panthers. We actually have decent playoff equity if we win out, but I don't think we are beating philly even with foles playing qb.

Yep. Most likely we drop one of our last two but at least we have a sweat now.

I think Philly would have nothing to play for if they beat Oakland in week 16.

They mentioned they would have already got the #1 seed if they won vs NYG (and they did) and Minnesota had of lost (and they played an AFC team).

Logically speaking, they would only need one more thing to go there way for them to get the #1 seed.

They beat us when we didn't really care last year, no real reason we can't do the same this year.

Atlanta (or Carolina/NO) losing two more games is the hard part.

Atlanta - Bucs, Saints, Carolina

Saints - Bucs, Atlanta

Carolina - Bucs, Atlanta

Go Bucs

We need the Lions to lose one of their last two as well, right? They’ve got Cinci and GB left. If Atlanta and Seattle go 9-7 and Dallas and Detroit go 10-6, does the last spot go to Detroit? There’s no head-to-head and we’d have the same conference record of 8-4.

Detroit has the 3rd tiebreaker or something over us. Too lazy to look it up.

Sloppy sloppy game yesterday but whatevs.

Yep. Cmon refs, call the delay of game penalty for laying on the dude and then also don't fall over and cost them another 5 yard out.

Win out
Detroit loses at least 1 (@CIN, vs GB)
Either ATL/NO/CAR lose both

That's the path, and the 5 seed is still in play with the right combo.

Fortunately/unfortunately the South teams all play each other over the next 2 weeks. So the loser of the ATL/NO game next week is the target. Carolina has Tampa at home this coming week... maybe this ownership mess becomes a distraction?

Best bet has got to be ATL losing both and GB beating DET with a 3 week returned, hopefully 100% Rodgers

If it came to that, and we win out, I'd have to imagine the ATL game would get flexed so we'd still have to sweat it down the last game.

Is Rodgers even getting another start now that they're eliminated? I thought for sure they'd sit him now to be safe.
