GB did still have one TO left, which they wound up using after a weirdly-called 1yd run late in their drive, so you could argue that the pass call on our end didn't make a difference. The only other thing Dak could have done is knelt down at the one-foot line or something, but then we probably commit a hold on 1st down or something lol like that.

But whatever. The big problem is that our defense is dog****.

Jaylon Smith is bad at football right now. Need to bench him when Lee gets back.

I'm at least happy Dak is still playing well. A lot easier to find a defense than a QB.

Linebackers really takin a beating. With Lee made of glass, and Smith... while a nice story he’s still far from ready, if he ever will be.

That last drive was great. No issue with Dak throwing or scoring when he did. The problem is when you give Aaron Rodgers the 25 yardline to start everyone in the state knew they were at least getting 3. Even against a good defense.

Two weeks in a row though where the third quarter was death. Butler needs more looks at wr2 over williams.

Just being realistic. A lot of young guys that need more time, Zeke suspension, injuries. We could really just use one more draft stacking the D. May not even need that WR/TE frankly.

My problem is settling for even 1 game is still settling for being suspended for domestic violence. Something that will follow him around forever and cost him a lot of $ outside of football.

Thing is he's not gonna beat the 6 with this collective bargaining agreement. The settlement can also be for "conduct unbecoming". Aka the shirt pull.

Time and winning does a lot. See Ray Lewis and Mike Vick still on TV giving their opinions.

Hell Jason Kidd admitted to beating on his wife + multiple DWIs and got a NBA head coaching gig post-retirement. People are pretty forgiving if you are good at sports.

Him deciding to sit out this season because the Cowboys are having a down year or accepting a reduced sentence (and not fighting the suspension all the way) and people will assume even more than they do now he obv did it. Just lol NFL for this dragging on for two years.
