Oh well. Still tied for division lead with a ton of season left, and the QB isn't hurt. I think it was probably just a bad game but there's fair room for second guessing, even the positions of strength looked bad yesterday.
More immediately they have guys coming back from suspension and need at CB it looks like, so it will be interesting to see what they do. I guess Benwikere will be active this week and it looks like they could probably let one RB go, but then who else, Price? I'd choose Kellen Moore but with Dak's ankle

Think people are overreacting to playing the #1 pass D on the road.
Just by the fact he appears to be elite at protecting the ball goes a long way even if his accuracy is not top notch so far.

People are way overreacting to one bad game. The O will be fine, going on the road to play Denver is just a really tough spot. I also think the secondary will improve as the year goes on and the young guys get some playing experience under their belts. Will also help when we have more than 3 healthy CBs.

Still thinking 10-6. Tougher schedule, may not run as pure and worse secondary at least right now.

I don't know if I want to throw a hard prediction out there other than to say the offense will pick up and give a lot of teams fits. A playoff slot isn't out of the question for them. I don't think they're quite complete enough a team just yet for much more.
The defense has serious problems under the hood but at least we can ascribe them to finally making an effort to rebuild on that side of ball, instead of doubling down on the same core veterans year after year (& wondering why they keep coming up a little short). So many solid prospects among the newer faces but they need to develop first.

We need some WR that can help Dak out, he's not good enough to throw to these tight windows all the time.
If Dez wants to know get shut down too that would be nice.

The WR corps more than good enough. Say what you want about Dez he's still one of the top guys in the league at what he does. So is Beasley. TWill and Butler are capable veterans to give other options here and there. When you factor the ridiculous assets in Witten, Zeke and that insane o-line...
It's just Dak's job to make those tight throws and there's no way around it in this offense. We saw him do a fantastic job of it as a rookie, with or without Dez Bryant in the lineup, so I don't buy that he's not good enough. Having a Julio Jones on the other side would be nice but if it takes 8 All-Pros to beat NFL defenses then something is terribly off.
Still it's reasonable to expect some kind of drop, Dak's season was sick in so many ways that it's just insane

dak getting exposed because defenses just stuff 8 or 9 in the box and the Twill and Dez can't beat 1 on 1 and they never use Beasley

Great bounce back tonight, and a much needed one in our division. Beasley feels underused right now. He was basically a 5/50 average guy last year, he's felt non existent this season.

Offensive lines can take a few games to gel. Denver had the #1 run D last year and Arizona was #3 overall.
Teams will continue to dare Dak to beat them early. Need our receivers to continue to win enough 1 on 1 battles.
Rams are a well coached team at least on offense. Should be a fun one.

Demarcus Lawrence might be a top 5 pass rusher in the NFL which is insane. Leading the NFL right now. Even had eight sacks last year in only nine games played.
I can have David Irving be a beast as well? Could be scary..
