Demarco Murray best Cowboys back since Emmitt now confirmed.

Laurent Robinson worth some mention. He has earned a longer-term deal imo. Seems to have good chemistry with Romo, runs routes well and comes off like a good hard-working guy. Plus he's only 26 and a speedy-type receiver, which really fits our needs. I had my doubts with his injury history but he's been hands down better than that Ogletree. He could wind up being a better version of Pat Crayton.

At the rate he's going we may not be able to hang on to him. He could end up with 800 yard and 7 TDs which would be incredible given the nature of our system, what with out WRs, Witten, and pass-catching backs.

Who knew? I thought he was some broke-down bum.

i mean, hes playing most this season out as a starter too. he would be great to be in the slot for awhile


it was nice to see Romo back to full strength (as he claimed) and on fire. that is the kind of game this team has the potential for every week

id like to see that for these next 3 weeks, no mental breakdowns vs this easy stretch leading up to the giants game.

We'll see. I still see a very inconsistent and generally a slightly-above-mediocre team, a few flashes of awesome here or there. That's still a long ways from being awesome though, lots of mediocre teams show flashes. The level of they showed against the Bills needs to be the standard rather than the exception.

I don't know whether the struggles have been more talent issues, or just ironing out execution mistakes & game planning. Hopefully it's the latter case because that's something they have a shot at fixing up.

The o-line and d-line, really don't know what to make of either. But the secondary is playing pretty well (all of them, believe it or not), we found a kicker and a halfback.

Either way the team is clearly improved after dumping all of those old vets, and they've got what looks to be a respectable rookie and FA haul these past two seasons. I'm inclined to think they might be a year away but we'll see if they don't manage to pick it up a bit. Going into the 10th game of the season they're in complete control of their destiny and are effectively tied for the division title, all things considered you can't ask for much more than that.

i'm a HUGE romo supporter, but one thing really bothers me wrt him: his Mr. November QB tag. i really hope he breaks thru this year. supposedly, he's not feeling the effects of the rib injury as much anymore and doesn't have to wear the protecting pads, so we'll see.

that san fran win is looking better and better. not to mention, by the end of the season i think going to NE and nearly pulling off that upset is going to look pretty good vs a potential 12-4 team.

I know everybody would feel better if Dallas crushed the Skins 45-6 or something like that, but they've still managed to win four of their last five and have kept themselves in it. Cowboys are still a work in progress but if they just keep grinding it out they might be able to do something.
