It's a stat that has been thrown around a lot already, but the Giants would be 10-2 if games ended 75 seconds earlier.

Eli has been about league average on most of the passing stats, has an about league average per year deal for non-rookie QB contracts (or what will be when all the QBs sign their next deals) and a lot of failing have been on the Giants defence.

TL;DR, the Giants are just there as a team, they aren't anything special, but that will probably be enough to win this stupid division.

Guess we'll see another Giants/Pats super bowl where the pats go 0-3 vs them.

I think he's fine. McFadden is fine. Drafting someone in 3rd-7th rounds is fine. All RB moves are fine.

We're bad on 3rd and short because we bring in like 5 TE's and make it COMPLETELY OBVIOUS we're running the ball everytime. I would love to know our stats with 3 TE's in this year. I bet it's like 50 carries for 50 yards or something.

Why would they even consider firing Rod Marinelli? I don't see any major coaching issues, at least so far as the key staff. They had a ton of key players injured and lost their starting QB for nearly the entire season.

They're 15-4 with Romo starting in the regular season games between this and the prior season. Without him they're 1-9. His health and lack of depth at QB is clearly the biggest issue.

Then there's the defensive personnel. Lots of youth, Their best player in the secondary has been in the NFL for 7 months. They have a young/retooling d-line that has had some injuries and disappointments so far. LB has had issues and it took awhile for McClain to show up and then longer to play well.

I think coaches need to be accountable but it has to be for things within their control. Are the players unprepared, or are they just not making plays that good players need to make? It looks like the latter to me.

It's lol Eagles too for throwing money at a veteran RB, immediately after what was clearly his peak career year. Most serious Dallas fans still had some reservations about what DM was last year, in spite of his yardage total.

Yeah, my hating on Murray comes from him talking up the Eagles and how excited he was to be on a team that could win a championship and also taking the money over what was a better situation and the fact that now he is salty about it

I mean we got the best possible result here. Demarco gets the fine payday he's worked hard for, but the Eagles picked up the cost, and have been penalized for it in the process. Perfect.

Murray might be unhappy but he's guaranteed $18m, and the way he's going might get released and score another deal before his career ends. Not shedding any tears for him. He's still pretty valuable to the Cowboys if he's going to suck cap space from a rival while sitting on their bench.

So a lot can happen with the combine and such, but I really think we're down to one of 5 possible players with our draft pick in round 1.

I could also see a team trading up into one of those WR's. Don't think we'll finish bad enough to get one of the big DE's or Goff, and most of the guys later would be pretty big reaches or don't fit our needs.
