The trade market is shot because of his ridiculous contract & the fact you'd have to give up something in trade to get it. Were he released outright that's a completely different scenario, but even then I don't think he'd be anywhere near the numbers you're hoping for. For that money plenty of teams would be interested.
Most interesting part of murray being gone is we're going to get a near perfect test of replacement theory. The O line is back together, the QB and WRs 1-4 are the same, as are the TEs. Only thing on offense that is different is RB
Probably about as close as you're going to get. Let's see about making it to the season with all the core offensive players intact first though. They were pretty fortunate last year, IIRC only Doug Free was gone for like 6 games and thankfully Parnell wasn't a trainwreck filling in. I don't think DeMarco Murray would get those numbers behind the same line again though or close.
So 3 linebackers inked so far. What a JAGgy group that's looking like but wasn't much different last year. It'd be nice to bink another Hitchens come Day 3 of the draft though.

Watch tape Parnell was a total wreck just not as noticed because of how great the rest of the O was
Certainly if you have better info (on anything) go ahead and post it. If it's just dumb radio talk or Broaddus then lol.
Parnell graded out on FO and PFF pretty well so far as I'm aware. I fwiw I do have All-22 and do watch tape and he did okay enough to get by with. Not Jags money okay by a long shot but okay. Not sure what your standards are for trainwreck but he was better than that. Can you be specific?
Be it the 2nd week of free agency and it now being more of a team market instead of a player's market. What kind of deal would be a good deal for us if/when we sign hardy? Really hoping we stay frugal and don't over spend. Also what kind of conditions can we put in for pending suspension?
I think I'm unclear on what exactly constitutes "RKG." Granted the guy can play and they need the help, and he's probably cheap right now, but is it so bad Dallas needs to be the team to sign him?
It's true that there's nothing gtd but that's potentially a lot of cap space. Factoring in the draft pool they're at just about $0 space before Hardy so we'll have to see how they go about freeing up the money. I just hope it's not Romo is all, most anything else I can live with.
Right now the cap hit wouldn't be very big for Hardy, and some could be charged next year depending on likely to be earned or not (LTBE/NLTBE). But I really didn't see him getting a shot at 8 figures after a year off & with his baggage. I wonder what others offered.
Could be worse. By the end of the season he and Lawrence seemed like a reasonable start to the d-line rebuild. I figured he'd have been extended by now. Maybe they made an offer and he just wants to play the year out first. Or they're looking for more in a 3-tech maybe.
My question now is what they plan to do with DLaw. I know Hardy can play either side and they value the hell out of the strong side DE position, but seems like you'd want him at RDE. Does D-Law back him up for a year or start on the strong side? Still lots of questions with their plan.
So Selvie looks gone too. Any chance we're able to keep Rolando?
Man that D is going to be almost unrecognizable next year. At least the O is almost identical.
Considering how bad they were last year I'm not sure that's a bad thing. I hope we can get Rolando back also but I wonder if he'll be suspended and for how long.
