You would also know he should not be playing SS on a major league team. Only Jeter might have worse range.

PS. Last time the Indians started the season 0-3 they won 99 games.
What about 0-4? If they had any kind of pitching so far I could get excited about Hafner driving the ball well. It looks like a long season though.

on a side note: hafner slugging can only be good news. and derosa with the double in the ninth is encouraging. problem's gonna be the starting pitching (ldo)...

I wouldn't worry, guys...as long as we score nine runs a game, we'll be fine.

Jake, please get healthy soon. We need you back.

A WIN, finally!!

Lots of takeaways: decent start by Reyes, Crowe's first hit, keeping a lead late. PRONK BEING PRONK. Wood striking out the side in the ninth.

hey guys... what is the vibe on LaPorta right now? I tried googling to see when he is projected to come up (or if) but figured you guys will have a better feel on that.

the longer LaPorta stays in columbus, the better the chance i go down to see him....who knows? depends on several things, really...

tonight: fausto dominates. his sinker was killer his first start, just wasn't accurate. tonight, he'll have it going...6-1 tonight and i'm not as worried going to sleep later...

WTF is with Fausto? I don't think I've seen him throw a low sinker for a strike in two years. Everything is either up or in the dirt, he's walking tons of guys, and he's just getting hammered every time out (both last year and this year). I don't understand how someone who was so dominant in 2007 has completely face-planted since then, and I don't think we can blame his control problems on his injuries anymore.

The Columbus AAA rotation is about to become the #1-5 starters for the Indians.

I'm only partially joking.
