I'm kinda surprised by this. From a basic fan's perspective, I get it, but from an "I want the Tribe to be successful in the long term" perspective, I don't. Keeping LaPorta in Columbus for a couple months doesn't save the Indians money, it gives them an extra year of LaPorta (because we're not going to pay most of those guys when they hit free agency). If you're going to root for the Tribe, you just have to live with it. Frankly, I think it's more fun to root for a team that actually has to use strategy in baseball/business decisions, as opposed to the Yankees, who can just call up their kids whenever because $15 million means nothing to them.

Oh, I live with it, and I would do it if I was the GM. It is just painful to watch people like Ben Francisco.

They always bring Tony Sipp in when behind. Another case of keeping the black man down in Cleveland.

Well yeah, it's far from over. This team seems to enjoy finding odd ways to lose.

Leadoff walk...good thing we spent $10 million on a closer.

You know, I'd say "unbelievable," but who are we kidding? This feels like 2006 and 2008 all over again.
