Hue Jackson gotta go. Keeping a 1-31 coach is insane. Browns are 3-12 against the spread this year.

yep.

he’s kinda even asking for it at this point, maybe he thinks he can go back to cincinnati?

I dunno, but yeah, if he turns out to be belichick part two (hahahahaha) so be it, but A) he really is in the habit of never taking responsibility, and B) A doesn’t matter anyway, he’s one more steeler beatdown away from 1-31.

one and ****ing thirty-one.

why fire sashi if they are gonna fire hue too? seems like it was one or the other and they chose hue.

The story Sunday morning was Hue had lost the locker room. I assumed Dorsey planted that story to set up the firing. We will see...

Dorsey telling the players they suck, then throwing Hue under the bus for losing the locker room would be next level.

Pretty simple actually. You bring in the GM with 1/4 of season left to evaluate roster, scouting operation, coaches etc. GM gets a handle on what team needs in free agency and the draft. Firing Jackson with 4 games left means an interim coach and that has a lot of drawbacks. Hue is 1-30 nuff stated about beeping him.

Sashi issues too many to enumerate all of them but I will give you two. Botching the McCarren trade and wasting $16 million on Osweiler.

Josh Gordon doesn't seem impressed with Hue, pretty sure he's tuned him out. I wonder about Kizer too actually. Crowell? Why would Crowell have any respect for Hue? Hue's message, we gotta be perfect to win should piss off a few players anyway.

I'm sure McKinsey would bless this.

Stupid ass criminal owner who knows nothing hires new GM, who says all the players suck. Meanwhile aforementioned stupid ass owner also says the coach is safe, but not very convincingly, thereby giving the green light to the new GM to **** on him. So new GM is likely to "win," but is hated by players, and seems like the kind of authoritarian jackass who will hire a subservient, ****ty coach.

What could go wrong?

Meh. Osweiler trade nets a top 40 pick. That's not a total loss. & not trading for McCarron is most likely much better than trading for him.

Their main problem seemed to be that they weren't that good at actually drafting players.

I'm not saying Hue shouldn't be fired in a heartbeat. The machinations just amuse me.

ya that makes sense to let the new gm make the call.

I was just saying that it seemed to me that there was a power struggle between sashi and hue, and that hue won.

anyway, osweiler trade was what it was and ownership should have known all along that it was simply the purchase of a pick for the contract. kind of like they do in the nba all the time.

who knows what happened with the mccarren thing but really I think they are better off with the picks or could have gotten a better qb for that haul. didnt jimmy garapolo go for similar?

really the indictment on sashi was failing to get a decent qb when they had chances at wentz and watson and a bunch of others. seems the rest of his picks have been mediocre too but he did well to acquire a lot of picks.

and I really wouldnt give a crap what josh gordon says or thinks lol.

baker has damn near a perfect qb rating, chubb has 150+ on 14 carries, we have a legit #1 lockdown corner, a legit elite pass rusher...

my head hurts.

I mean hey, they’re fun to watch again. that’s all I ask of this year.

find a dynamic young coach and keep drafting well and wait for big ben to die, but that all can be next year.

Is Myles elite yet? Idk. Good tho.

What a fun game to watch! Gonna be even better next year.

Sashi got so jobbed. The analytics people loved Baker, he probably would have taken him too, and gotten to realize his plan. Haslems are awful owners. Just have to hope they delegate to Dorsey as much as possible.

Funny how a team that's been as futile as the Browns have been would be over confident for a football game.
