Welp looks like #2 pick and a new coach/gm. Should be a fun offseason.

at least the titans have their QB, not that there's one that should be drafted #2 anyway (nor do I think we should be picking a qb).

Best play might be to continue sucking until Haslam gets fed up and sells the team. **** that guy.

Cleveland media is ripping Haslem's new organizational structure. It does seem bizarre to me. Not sure of which coaches/GMs would be ok with it. Johnny Football will not be back with the Browns, no new coach/GM wants to be accountable for him, he is someone elses guy.

Lol. Wow. Shame UM got Harbaugh. He would've had to ditch 2 sinking ships otherwise.

Terry Pluto posted that link on Twitter a few days ago. Patricia seems like a sharp guy. Hoping they sign him at this point.

This is always the pinnacle of the Cleveland sports year. Cavs crushing, no one asking me to go to a baseball game, and the peak of inflated expectations for the future Browns. What a time to be alive!

On Hue Jackson:

1. He has a stellar resume.

2. He has been involved with a lot of at the very least very good NFL QBs.

3. He passed on other teams that wanted him.

The Browns have the 2nd pick in the draft and I think Jackson has more than a reasonable chance of evaluating QB talent in this draft well. In fact I think the fact that he selected this opportunity is an indication that with the number 2 pick he can get the franchise QB that every team wants. He has coached in the AFC North for several years now so he has had a chance to evaluate the Browns often. My conclusion is that he doesn't think they are a lost cause. I think there is a lot of reasons for Browns fans to be optimistic about this hire.

Oh yeah bye bye Johnnny.

...and then he says hello to griffin. Cleveland Browns: Collecting Building Blocks

he just looks like a person that I'd daydream about hitting if forced to spend time around him...

though I guess with him, mccown and maybe a rookie, if the rookie can sit and learn and be ready in 1-2 years, we can start to focus on EVERY OTHER POSITION WHICH ARE ALL STILL HUGE NEEDS.

what in the CAPITALIZED **** is going on??!?

told my neighbor yday, we're Browns fans...like we give a **** about 2016. just gimme the thought that in 2019-2020 we have a good shot at being the 2014-2015 Seahawks and I'll continue to buy my tickets to one game every year...

**** tho for real, I'd like to believe that some of these 6 picks in the top 100 may even actually end up being okay. then again...

Browns got a 2nd round pick in 2018 from the Eagles as part of trading out of #2. I like what the Browns are doing. On Coleman, remember RGIII is known for being really good at throwing the deep pass along the sideline. Coleman fits into that well. If I were picking next I would lean towards that Alabama RB over someone like Cook. Get a good RB that runs between the tackles well and can take it across the goal line in the red zone.

In for some BROWNS thread. I've been posting positive things about the new front office even when all they were doing was letting all their players go.

Have been enjoying all the trades, although kind of wished they had traded down a few more spots.

I think it's interesting that they drafted a WR from Baylor when RG3 also played in the same system under Art Briles there.

Would be very surprised if they used a 2nd on RB who can't catch. Seems ridiculously un-analytics-y.

There is a ton of action right now w/ the #Browns No. 32 pick. They'll have to LOVE a player there not to accept one of these offers.
Could be another fun day.

I am so deeply ingrained in assuming that the Browns will be the village idiot. This **** is causing previously unknown levels of cognitive dissonance.

Same, I read a dozen articles this morning that said the Browns won the draft and now my head hurts.

Heard from a friend there's a bunch of people on local radio ****ting on the moves. I guess I should have seen that coming.

If I counted right, Browns have 12 picks this year and 13 next year if you count the 4 compensatory picks that they are likely to get. Also next year for the first time teams can use compensatory picks in trades. So know the Browns have maneuvered themselves into an excellent position so now it is about how well they evaluate talent. No doubt Hue Jackson has a lot of input regarding talent evaluation. Of course not every player is going to be NFL caliber but maybe enough will be to turn Browns fortunes around. Things lookin up in Cleveland,
