Too bad Winslow and his grapefruit sized balls probably won't be playing.

Can the defense show up and Braylon go off one time please? Please? I mean, off a bye, right? Sigh. One can always dream.

Clark, how many games back do the Browns have to be before you change the thread title? I'm thinking something along the lines of Cleveland Browns 2008: At least we're better than the Bengals!

That claim might end up being fairly dubious at the end of the season.

If my wish posted above doesn't come true, fully expect me to take out my vengeance and furious anger upon this thread. It will make the Tigazzzzzzzzzzzzzzz debacle look tame.

Defense has been showing up. It's hard to expect that much out of them when the offense keeps getting off the field too quickly/giving opponents ridiculous field position every other drive. I mean...if you would have told people before the season the Browns would be 9th in points allowed, 14th in totals yards allowed...everyone would have guessed they'd be 3-1 or 4-0 right now with their "high-powered" offense. The current state of affairs rest largely on the shoulders of DA and Braylon. (Romeo being dumb is just assumed.)

Sal Paolantonio mentioned the Browns may run the Wildcat offense with Joshua Cribbs tonight. I guess that would be one thing to look forward to.

What is up with Jaws saying that "its way to early to go for 2"? There were only 8 minutes left! Go up by 21. That is clearly the correct play. I was upset that they did not go for 2 at 26-14. Also, what was up the Giants taking all the time in the world when they were down by 3 tds?

All NFL teams should hire some two plus two nerd to help them with logic. There were a few games this weekend that I thought the game would be lost because a coach thought is was "too early to go for 2".

Me too. It probably made sense to Romeo, though, he figured that if the Giants were down 6 with 3:23 to go on the 20 yard line they'd kick a field goal.

how BOUT those browns??

the fact that DA looks like the worst starter in the nfl for 3 quarters, and then does barely enough to save his job seemingly every week makes me want to puke.

romeo makes me want to puke.

braylon edwards makes me want to puke blood.

at 2-4, is it time yet to see what we have in brady? if the vikings really did offer two first-round picks ('09 and '10) for him, and we turned it down, WHEN THE **** WILL WE START PLAYING HIM???

watching michigan every saturday and the browns every sunday really takes a lot out of you..

Last edited by wiper; 10-19-2008 at 07:49 PM. Reason: forgot about puking blood for braylon, what a joke he's become..

When did Braylon forget how to catch the ball. That is a pretty important skill for him to suddenly lose.

This team is very good at 21 positions. Unfortunately the one we suck it is by far the most important. To say DA is bad is like saying Charlie Weis is fat.

If you are going to refuse 2 #1 picks for Brady Quinn, letting him sit on the bench is terrible.

Fire Romeo, fire Phil Savage.

Romeo is infinitely worse than Anderson. Whoever called the qb sneak with a minute to go should be shot immediately WTF going for the tie.
