How can you possibly not understand my argument? Manziel is basically an unknown NFL-wise. It's possible he could put up the 30+ points needed to beat the Colts, due in part to his amazing athletic ability and the fact that it's hard to prepare for him defensively due to lacking film/unusual playing style. Hoyer needs the game of his life to put up the necessary numbers. Therefore I think Manziel gives us a chance to win. Couple that with getting him some experience and this seems like a no brainer.

****

now, if we lose hoyer is probably done but if he leads us down the field...??

this is why records aren't what you should use to determine the starting QB. he was in line to win and the offense has 1 td

The line moved unfavorably Sunday morning so I passed. I'm a sports betting newb, but judging from the research I've done the money line tends to be a suckers bet. Money line is where it's at since the spread is only a difference maker ~20% of the time.

So that sucks. I'm supa proud of our D. They were truly amazing. But the offense is stale. I appreciate the fact that out WRs didn't catch every pass, but please let Hoyer be done for the season. A sub 50% completion game against a sh*tty defense is not gonna cut it. BH is the best QB Cleveland has seen since Kosar, but that's not saying a lot. I'd rather go out in a guns blazing loss then be stuck in an offense doldrum due to Hoyer. He was great. He was AIDS. I loved him. I hated him. I rooted for him no matter what. Best wishes Brian, go away.

Yeah wrt Hoyer it's w/e. He's obv gone next year. One must worry about jff tho unless pettine and shanahan are backdoor smart enough to be covert developing Johnny genius style on the bench.

Team minus qb is GOOD. that's what's fun. Looking forward. I mean 8-8 has been The Impossible Dream and now browns get two first rounders again. I still have hope for Gilbert. Cb takes a while to learn. Beat balt and Cincy and this year was practically a miracle.

Yeah. Just like the colts game our expectations have grown. If preseason I had known that we'd likely have a winning season I woulda been ecstatic. If before the Colt game you told me we lose by 1 point I would thought that's a good showing.

were you talking to me? I was just perplexed that hoyer had the chance to be praised for another win that the other 21 people earned.

I'm team whoever the coaches think is best.

who the **** are you anyway?

Not talking to you whatsoever. Not sure why you thought I was.

But lol at "who the **** are you." So many 2p2ers obsessed with their internet egos.

lol at having an ego, what am I, 18?

just seems like more and more people are invading the browns thread that I don't recognize. I guess I do remember interacting with you here and there and "who the **** are you" I meant more as why are you itt than you're not good enough or whatever.

guy with the buffalo screenname popped up out of nowhere with 9 paragraph posts using the term "we" over and over and it's kinda throwing my game off a little.

Buffalo has been around for a while this season. And more before with banned screen names, but I digress....
However there's no ownership of this thread. It's just a level 0 Browns conversation. That said I think Wiper is a good guy. He just has major ego issues or drinks too much. I like his b*tchin' either way. At least he's a fan and actually posts in this dead-*ss thread.

Anyone else curious about the potential for a "Hoyer Package"?

Maybe just for the red zone?
