1. Palmer going down was a bad break, but sh*t happens, especially in the NFL

2. How often does Bettis fumble? It wasn't "lucky" for Indy that he coughed it up? Chances of anyone (including Vanderjagdt) missing a FG >>>> Bettis fumbling there with the game on the line. Seriously thats like a 1/1000 shot. Missing a 43 yard fg or whatever happens way more often.

3. What happened in Denver?

4. You can complain all day but we still got that one for the thumb!

5. What have the Browns won in the last 50 years? With or without refs help?

Paul Brown > Collective Steelers history. If it wasn't for Paul Brown, there wouldn't be any 'one for the thumb!' silliness.

EDIT: As a Niners fan, I can only laugh at your 5-1 super bowl record. Must suck being #2.

I actually like the 49ers this year. Gore and Willis are beasts.

But what does losing one Super Bowl have to do with anything??

Dallas has 5 rings also and they have lost a few, doesnt make the 5 any less impressive.

Palmer was bad luck for Cincy, but as Joey Porter said "I hope you dont think Jon Kitna's gonna beat us."

How quickly everyone forgets the blown call on Polamalu's interception in the Indy game.

rofl at calling the colts game luck. You realize how many times the colts got unbelievably lucky in that game to even remain in it? But no, you browns fans have selective memory.

so how old are you? How many people still involved with the Browns are around now? Oh wait, those browns moved to baltimore...

And fwiw the rooney family has been the most influential owners since the merger, bar none. They're also the most respected.

I can't believe I opened this thread, Browns fans trying to talk smack about a Super Bowl win might be the dumbest thing I've ever read on this site, and I've read a decent amount of BBV4L.

As you said, football was a different game 50+ years ago. That's back in the days of the GREAT ONE PAUL BROWN!! Talking about the NFL in the "Super Bowl Era" isn't too big of a deal, unless your team hasn't been successful for at least 45 years.

People in here talking up the Browns are hilarious. That's similar to me talking sh*t on the Red Sox as a Pirates fan. It would go like this: Well the Sox got lucky in 2004, who comes back from a 3-0 deficit??? Curt Schilling was on roids!! And then: Well, I know the Pirates suck, but at least our fans aren't so damn arrogant. I mean, you do make the playoffs pretty much every year and win about 95 games a season, but yeah we suck and we admit it, which is better than winning and being so confident. PS- your team has a DH problem.

Just to remind you: the Browns coaches are retarded, the defense can't see or tackle, and Derek Anderson is quite possibly the most over-hyped player in sports history. The only player on your team who isn't totally worthless is Joe Thomas. Kellen Winslow is talented but all he can do is pout to the refs because his team blows. And I'm just cracking up thinking about how bad your defense and coaching is. It really is pathetic that you can't find NFL level talent to even compete with the Steelers.

Have fun losing to the Bengals. That's gotta be the ultimate slap in the face. First, your team moves to Baltimore and wins a Super Bowl. Then Big Ben leaves Ohio for Pittsburgh and lights it up. Next, you get ***** smacked and go to 0-4 and lose the battle of Ohio. Actually, both teams lose that one by default.

And when Lebron leaves your garbage city, you will be left with basically nothing except your scumbag friends and neighbors.

okay, so we're playing a team that's 0-3 and is starting a QB that hasn't thrown a pass in an NFL game in 3 years..

DIE ROMEO

He is so awful. I don't care that we won...letting DA continue to play in that game indicates a level of incompetence that is unacceptable.

QFT. It's pretty tough for someone to take the focus off of how bad Marvin Lewis is, but Romeo managed to do it today.

What's sad is i'm not making up the "same named street" thing. I don't remember the actual road name...so i'm gonna use "Jones Road" for this example, hell that may have been it..i dunno. So i'm following directions, which a Pittsburgh resident gave me (first mistake), and im supposed to be on this Jones road, I get lost at one the eventual points u run into in any Pittsburgh traveling where the road just stops existing. So i drive around in circles and somehow end up on Jones road. So now i'm trying to figure out where I am in respect to the directions, I ofc can't, and i'm out of gas so i ask for directions when I fill up. I then am in informed that i'm on the wrong Jones road. Now...u may be thinking, oh u were on Jones Avenue, not Jones Road...but no...there were literally 2 completely separate Jones Road in two different parts of town, going completely different directions. Not East Jones Road and West Jones Road. Not Jones Street or Jones Avenue. So i'm looking at this local like he's crazy and the sickest part is he didn't seem to see anything weird about the situation.

I'm a Steelers fan and I definitely agree here. However, the one city I've found that's many degrees worse is Hickory, NC. Not only do they name all the streets the same thing, but the street names are ridiculously convoluted: (i.e. Main St. Rd. Blvd. Circle NE, whereas Main St. Rd. Blvd. Circle NW is a different road 3 miles away, and Main St. Rd. Blvd. SE is the road that bisects it, etc.

It doesn't get any worse than Atlanta. Take a right on peachtree st. Then turn left on Peachtree lane. Then turn left again on Peachtree ave. Take the 3rd right on Peach street.

I miss the consistent grid of the interior Cleveland suburbs and the well thought out W/E numbering and it's relation to street numbers.

Everything else about Cleveland sucks. Especially Romeo Crennel.
