Serious question here: Do you guys really think there's a chance of Cowher going to Cleveland? I know he's got history there and all, and I know everyone has a price. I don't know. Just seems wrong somehow...

He was a CLE assistant...I think if it was a zero chance Cowher would publicly say "no chance"

not that I think it's likely, but I think it could happen, and Lerner seems willing to open the checkbook

Hmm... I realize I'm biased as a Steeler fan, but I cannot imagine what he'd go through the first game back in Pittsburgh. Of course, 6-8 million a year provides a great deal of insulation.

He could get 10 easily if he came straight out and told Randy Lerner thats what he wanted.

Seriously??? GM + HC, or just head coach? Because Bill Cowher the coach is way better than Bill Cowher the GM, imo.

Honestly, probably either. Coaches don't count against the cap, Lerner is loaded, he's not a complete moron and realizes that he needs to do something to satisfy the fans who's frustration is getting out of hand.

You think you guys could pull off a miracle win next week? I'm already pulling for the miracle raiders win and a basic seahawks win against a tanking Arizona team. And for both our sakes maybe the Packers will one of their next two.

I doubt it. The Cowboys or Skins will top any money offer; his wife would have to prefer warm weather like SD or closer to the daughter in college in NC; all the drama of playing Pitt twice a season; Browns appear to be a long way away (tho look at ATL & Miami's turnarounds); etc.

I'll say Cowher to Skins, Marty in some capacity to Browns.

I don't really care if it's Marty or Cowher. If its neither I'm gonna be pissed. If it's Romeo...no words are appropriate.

This might actually be a worse scenario, because there is no indication that the Browns management has any idea what they are doing.

Pretty Randy knows what he's doing, my soccer knowledge is pretty poor but I believe Aston Villa FC doesn't suck? As far as other management....clean house obv.

People who know what they are doing generally have at least one competent employee.

Apparently Romeo Crennel runs such a tight ship that random defensive linemen feel comfortable punching the future of the franchise in the face. Jesus Christ I'm ashamed to be loosely associated with this franchise.
