Would be nice to get Forte going this week. Want to see Cutlahhh stay within himself again.
The defense played really well last week. Hunter did a great job against the run. There are more open spots in the middle of the field against the cover-two though. This may require Lovie to be smart and come out of it randomly to confuse the QB.
Love the way the defense has responded these first two games. I think the offense will really start to click once they get into the soft underbelly of the schedule.
Good to get the win, but we have to improve in a lot of areas if we want to be a serious contending team. Our O-line looked bad...real bad. We can't expect Forte to get the run game going if the line collapses before he even gets the ball. D was also pretty weak.
Loving the QB play and the way the ball is getting spread around. Forte and Olsen making catches the WR doing their jobs. Hell, I'm even starting to believe that Hester can be a go-to receiver.
Some poor tackling and the dreaded short quick pass can doom this defense all of the time. Burrleson gave Bowman fits all day.
The running game will not improve until Omiyale is out of the line-up. Every run play that gets blown up in the backfield is from his guy killing him off of the ball. The fact he is still out there with how bad he is playing and with a back-up that outplayed him for three months in camp drives me up a wall. We need to get him busted for drunken boating over the bye.

@ZachZaidman Since halftime of the season opener in GB: Jay Cutler's completed 72.2 percent of his passes (10 qtrs)--#1 in the league during that span
Too many LB's at the line of scrimmage. Leaving Bowman isolated with Calvin Johnson with the safety too far away to help. Pressure on the QB too inconsistent.
Lovie needs to sort out his 3rd and long calls and the D needs to man the f**k up.
I am not watching the game because I am out of market, but can someone please tell me why Hester has 1 catch for 2 yards? He should be getting 8-10 targets a game, easily, and only a couple of them should be screens. I don't know how to judge route running, but his hands have been fantastic this year-- I realize Knox has breakaway speed too, I just can't understand why Hester goes some weeks looking like a ghost.
I agree the White Sox are prob the favorite to win it next year...Plus I have kind of a sick feeling that if the Tigers donk off the 1 game playoff in Minny that we might be shoved into rebuilding mode by the owner and ship Verlander to Texas or something. Cutting dem costss.
